Bladerunner, how many times are we going to go over this? He's not fighting Mosley right now because he's going to fight Pacquiao. If Mosley beats Berto, he'll be in line to fight Mayweather in late 2010. This isn't the WWE, you don't simply fight guys because they called you out. Everyone wants to fight Floyd, but he can't fight everyone. Mayweather/Pacquiao is the biggest fight that can be made, unquestionably. Mayweather is not about push aside that fight to take on an aging fighter that's still fighting on regular HBO.

This is the exact same excuse he would use if a certain someone fought mosley instead of PAC.

 

I like what i saw in that interview tbh - Floyd was honest in some respects, regarding 'legacy' at least and it's actual worth. He seems to lie to himself though about how big he is in the sport...Hatton brought much of the money to their fight, and i would say Pacman is the bigger draw for the box office now too - he seems to have delusions.

 

I think Mayweather gives Pacman a lot of good advice in that interview.

If Pacman gets in the ring with Mayweather. He is the one that has to get in the ring and deal with that beast not Arum as Mayweather said. Pacman better make sure that he is going to end up making more money then Arum for the fight.

Don't let them pimp you Pacman. Don't let them force the fight on you only to exploit you and get paid big money while you get paid less then them. As your the one that has to take the punches to the face and all the risk.

Part of what PAC & Floyd became now was ARUM. Arum making money out of pac is not floyd business. He can fight pac if he wants though ARUM is making money. ARUM's cut is not on floyd's revenue but on pac.

 

Why does Floyd mention losses? Its one of the most ridiculous reasons? The last undefeated fighter was Hatton. He mentions Shane and Pac have losses and there is a "blueprint" to beat them yet he fought Marquez who had 4 losses.
