Against whom you ask? How about a tall undefeated and intimidating Diego Corrales RIP. Or what about an Angel Manfredy who was in his prime; or better yet how about a much heavier Oscar De La Hoya. I can go on and on. In his last outing he pitched a shutout against a fighter that should be 1 to 1 in the record books against Manny Pacquiao. Juan Manuel Marquez. He beat Marquez in every single round after being off for almost 2 years. Floyd was flawless against Zab Judah after waiting a few rounds and studying him. You haters don't have to give the man credit but us real boxing fans aren't blind with hate.

Floyd would make Manny look like an amateur just like he did with Marquez.

Money MAy has a problem wit pressure, especially speedy-power clever pressure which MAnny Pac can deliver. I thought Mayweather Jr. would almost easily outbox the Pinoy icon. To be honest, I think Miguel Cotto would give Floyd Jr. a rough fight he may lose. PAC-MAn is special. I thought the filipino bomber was gonna lose to a larger nd very good fighter. I was wrong. I said 2 myself nd otherz dat if Manny wins in spectacular fashion, he is special. Manny iz SPECIAL. He took Cotto's best like Mosley did nd came back wit muthafn 3rd world HEART!! U can't teach dat. He was born wit it!

    MANNY PAC #1!

Work rate. Not a huge puncher. His defence could backfire one day. Lack of real devil. Over confidence. How will he react when he is eventually whacked hard. There is always someone out there who can beat you, perhaps Pacman has his number? The speed, power and ambition of Pac will make him a very dangerous opponent for Mayweather. This fight if it comes off will be extreme.

Please do go on and on mentioning the top names hes faced. Corrales yes, Oscar-we all know the guy lost most of his big matches, he just made money. Manfredy, c'mon. Please dont dare say Baldomir because he was the "lineal champ", that will kill your argument completely. I know youre not objective when you mention JMM vs Floyd, because that doesnt even compare with the weight difference and the fact that JMM was fighting 14 lbs over his prime weight of 130, where he had never fought at. We all know that was a huge mismatch. So far you got me with Corrales and Judah. Please name the others.

why are people talking about output as a weakness? Floyd doesnt throw 70-80 punches per round because he doesnt have to and nobody has made him thus far. It doesnt mean he cant. He is extremely accurate with the punches he does throw though, he oesnt waste punches.

It seems to me that you can only truly waste punches if you are concerned about your stamina. Paul Williams and Pac " waste punches " all the time , mostly on people's faces .

I'd say the man is pretty close to perfect. His problems are his hands that have had problems. He has power and latley it is not punch but then again at lightweight he could pop. Manny who started as low as 106 has not been hit that flush yet. Hatton hit him with some good shots that got Pac's attention but he was too buzzed to win. De La Hoya landed some good left hooks but did not have the steam to put him away. Cotto was just out gunned. Floyd will land often and to me very easily. Pac is suseptuble to counter punchers. And who better then Floyd. Pac will walk into enough punches to generate power from Floyd. Like the Hatton fight. Floyd dominated De La Hoya followed a gameplan vs Hatton and won pretty solidly, he took Judah to school and made adjustments early to negate Judah, he did not even give Baldomir a chance. he outclassed Gatti. I do not see any weaknesses. All I can see hurting him would be a broken hand or the possibility of being a bit rusty. The Marquez bout did go 12 but it was not a testing kind of 12. So he may still be rusty.

I did not see the fight yet. I said he was outgunned I never said he was not hit. Cotto who is not the best counterpuncher and never had the chance from what I understand to respond. Floyd is way better at fighting going backwards then Cotto. And Maywheather is way more accurate and his punches faster and crisper

Has the tendency to shell up and lay on the ropes.

Leaves himself open after straight rights.

Feints and poses against guys who can't match speed.

at times can be real inactive.

He is technically perfect. He can do it all when he has to. Lacks one punch power though but speed makes up for that.

No one's mentioned this, but with the way he ducks punches, bending way below the belt-line, against someone with great hand speed and flurry big combinations with power and from angles, he just might take one in the back of the head.

Boring, runner. He doesn't fight Welterweights. His best win was against glass jaw Corrales, and tough but slow Castillo who beat Corralles and Coralles beat Castillo by TKO.So I do not know anymore. Floy is good tho.I have him outclassing and stopping Manny late. No hate on Floyd. I think he is a great technical fighter who can be boring.I don't see many mistakes he makes.Except he allows fighters to tee off on him on the ropes. Is he serious? his going to allow Pac to dislocate his shoulder on the ropes if that defense works then he is a genuis.
