Those high PPV numbers for Floyd are attributable to Hatton and De la Hoya not Floyd. Between Mayweather-Pacman people will be paying to see the exciting fighter Pacman, not the pot shotting safety first Mayweather who plays tag for 12 rounds throwing only a few punches a round

It doesn't matter. Pacquiao still fought then at a worse time. Had the economy been fine for all fights, both lots would have done better. The fact is than more people had less money around the time of Pacquiao's big fights. It's not really important though. Pacquiao only became mainstream after he KOed Hatton, so it's unfair to compare, just like it would be to use Floyd/Baldo as reason why he isn't a mega draw.

Floyd is a big draw. Going back to Pac vs Oscar, I would have said PBF was a bigger draw than Pac. But after Pac destroyed Oscar his stock went up. Pac's PPV sales were pretty much even to PBF's against Hatton, and then he knocked out Hatton in 2 rounds. His stock went up again after that fight. If Pac vs Cotto outsold PBF vs JMM, then I don't see what makes PBF a bigger draw. JMM and Cotto are both similar in terms of drawing power. I predicted 1-1.5 million PPV sales for this event. Pimp C I think you predicted less than 700K. I think its obvious that you are underestimating Pac's drawing power.

I like Pacquiao a lot, I think he's a great guy, and an incredible athlete whos got a passion for his people and what it is he does.....but what i will say is a good 25-40% of his fans, at least on ESB, are clincally ******ed
