Dude against Marquez, it was still a fall out effect from Hatton and De La Hoya so people bought that Mayweather fight. I am certain if Floyd was to fight anyone else other than Pacman he would not do even half those numbers. Floyd reminded us how he talks an exciting fight but fights boring one

I would like Floyd to be Pacs last fight. Keep your health and hang on to your money.

    :good

Good point, at some point boxing fans won't fall for his salesman talk.

"If I hurt you, I'mma finish you."

Then proceeds to pot shot to decision.

No way! I'm not buying "$2 Million" PPV buys for PAC/Cotto! You can't always trust Bob....or any promoter for that matter. I'm guessing it does around what JMM vs Mayweather.....hopefully a bit lower for the sake of making the PAC vs Floyd fight.

I saw his interview, his family wants him to retire, he says he still has it in him and wants one more fight. They asked him if he wanted Mayweather, he said that's up to my promoter. He was groggy, both eyes were somewhat swollen, he looked pretty banged up. Said Cotto was tough and it was a tough fight.

True! Floyd is going to be PPV king since he took that spot from DLH once he retired. ANd PAC has a long way to catch up. But we all need to pray Floyd's PPV #'s hold up! B/c there ain't no way this fight gets made if Floyd has to take he lesser amount. ANd right now....Floyd's one ACE of SPADES is the fact he is the PPV King. If PAC takes that away with the amount of PPV buys he does, you know Roach isn't going to let Floyd have 50/50. And we all know Floyd wouldn't even consider taking anything less than half.

Actually.....PIMP, Floyd did fight both DLH and Hatton when the economy was at an all time Hight....Right before the CRASH and it did have an effect on the numbers. Now.....I'm not going to say PAC would have outsold Floyd. There is no way to tell, but I will say DLH & Hatton had both lost to Floyd 1 yr earlier. The mistique the unbeaten Jr WW in Ricky and tainted Golden Boy after he lost some of his luster in the losses from Floyd didn't help the numbers at all either.

Bottom line....Floyd at the moment is the top draw in this sport! His numbers support that. But you are only as good as your last fight and your popularity is the same in this sport. Floyd did amazing numbers with JMM....No one had anything close to those kinds of numbers. If PAC doesn't hit the Million mark for PPV buys then Floyd will remain the PPV King and he'll make the fight with PAC b/c he'll have leverage. But if PAC does more you can believe we won't see Floyd vs PAC in this lifetime.

Beg to differ......love him or hate him Floyd is a draw. People who want to see PAC are the same fans that also buy Floyd tickets to see him loose. Floyd has some of the most loyal fans and at the same time some of the most loyal detractors.

If you say that about Floyd you have to say the same about PAC.....that PAC's numbers were as high as they were b/c of Ricky and DLH.

    Economy my ass.;..

Economy didn't make a big enough difference for 1.2 million buys in the oscar fight man...maybe 100,000 buys but not 1.2 million...

    Thats the funniest **** i heard...economy lmfao
