****, I am excited. Alot of fans probably shot their boxing load last weekend but seriously these two guys are both very good fighters.

I'm leaning on an upset here . . . but it's not my final pick yet.

    Ward UD, SD or MD.

I normally make my final picks on big fights after the weigh ins.

Cannot wait. Substance over popular belief. My preferred take. Ward by decision.

Rooting for Ward, but I think Kessler will win.

    Ward UD

I really think he's going to surprise a lot of people on Saturday.

agreed, I think he's easily the most complete American fighter in ther tourney.

He's definitely the most complete American fighter in the tournament. Taylor is the most INCOMPLETE and I've always felt Ward was better than Dirrell.

I think he might be the most complete fighter in the tournament, period.

Personally, I think Kessler is overrated. Also (and I could be wrong on this) I think Ward might be the real deal.

Guess I'll know soon enough, but I really think Ward wins this.

Kessler should knock Ward out. Kessler is fighting in Ward's hometown with Ward's judges, referee, commentators, venue, etc., so Kessler needs a knockout to get a split decision. I think Kessler will stop Ward, he can't win a decision with criminal judges.

Kessler UD. Kessler's experience will be the key factor.

So I re-watched both Kessler Vs Calzaghe and also Vs Mundine.
That was the closest fight ever for Calzaghe
and Mundine's style is alike to Wards. Though I think Mundine was faster. And we know Calzaghe is faster. Yet Ward was had his own speed and timing. He even won the 12th round against Calzaghe. Whos work rate if phenomenal.

    Ward made a statemnt of
"just who has hit Kessler". We all know Calzaghe can't hit". (referring to if Kessler can take a punch) It baffles me when this statement comes up because if that were the case Hopkins wouldn't have faked the low blows to get some recovery time, nor would Joes KO rate be higher than Frochs and most other peoples. Mundine wasn't a slouch in that department either. Both mean put hard punch's on Kessler to barely any effect.
Wards fight with Miranda showed he lacks power.
Yes, lacks power. Sorry AA put his ass out in what 4 rounds at 168?
So I think this fight will be a repeat of the Mundine fight. Not sure if Ward will make it all 12 but stylistically etc I think it is almost a copy of it.
