You obviously didnt follow boxing at the time so Ill catch you up on it, D.Diaz/Pacman was agreed upon even before JMM/Pac II was signed. Even if Pac were to lose to JMM in the rematch those 2 would still fight each other afterwards. Campbell was in the middle of trying to call out Casamayor who was then the ring title champion, after weeks of trying when it looked like it wasnt going to happen Campbell agreed to fight Guzman. THere was absolutely no talks or interest for Pac fighting Campbell from anybody not even from Campbell's camp.

Learn the sport. Learn the business.

precisely. revisionist theories trying to slip one here and there. just like nallege insisting that pac lost to singsurat and torrecampo and morales in his prime.

jmm went to indonesia to get paid peanuts only to lose to chris john.:rofl

and now people insist pac ducked jmm for years. pac fought the guy twice.

the word duck is more appropriate when used in conjunction with the name pbf. :hey

Who cares, just stating a fact.

Pac was winning world titles as a teenager, PBF was only winning amateur titles as teenager.

Why so defensive and upset about it if you dont give a ****?... oh wait

There was never a mention of a doctor in the papers. Guzzy simply refused to fight. Heck, he came in at 138, meaning he did not even have to try being in the weight. Campbell did not ask him to sweat it out (which is usual norm as fighters are given 2 hours to sweat it out and re-weighed afterwards).

Had Campbell demanded a no-go if Guzzy can not make it at 135, then it is understandable that Guzzy would refuse to fight because 3 pounds within 2 hours would really drained him. But campbell said, let's fight with what your fat-ass weigh-in weight - meaning let us fight without you needing to lose weight. And hold and behold, the Guzzy backed -out.

It is not the first time for Guzzy to back out of a fight because he has more back-outs than actual fights in the last 5 years, but it is the first time for him to back out on the eve of the fight. It is like he was having a diarrhea at that time.

Then why are you defending Campbell like the little ***** that you are.

You clicking on this thread Motha****er and claim to have no interest in any fighter Pac supposedly ducked but are making these false accusations of who Pac could of fought and when.

Keep posting, you are digging a deeper hole than you can climb out of son.

Ok Diaz vs Pacman was "agreed upon"...... why not agree to fight Juan Diaz??? David Diaz was a joke and all he was, was a tune up...... but why not fight someone better???

Diaz was a tune-up? Not a bad tune-up for a guy moving up a weight class and coming off of these opponents for his last 5 fights:

    Marquez
    Barrera
    Solis
    Larios
    Morales

I mean, Diaz is no Sharmba Mitchell, after coming off of:

    Gatti
    Bruseles
    Corley
    N'Dou
    Sosa.

But hey. We can't all be Floyd Mayweather Jr....

What made you think that Juan Diaz is better???? Aside from his smothering style which is actually contradiction to how he should fight because of his lack of pop, there is nothing special about this guy. People are reading too much in his win against Popo.

David Diaz is slow but veryn fundamentally sound but more importantly he has more pop in his punches.

As you can see, one is fast swarmer who can not break a soft boiled egg no matter how he tries, while the other one is a slow with decent power and bigger (David diaz used to fight at 140as well as 147). Anytime of the day, I would pick the second one.

Another insecure nuthugger...... Why do yous keep bringing up Floyd's name??? Should I start comparing Pacman to Ray Robinson??? Or Ray Leonard??? What does Mayweather have to do with the convo?? Nothing that what.

Marquez(I have nothing to say here Marqez is the **** and it was a tough fight)
Barrera(comingoff a lose to Marquez and after there first fight what was suppose to happen??? I think manny took 3 punches in the whole 12 rounds)
Solis(really??? Solis besides his pretty record at the time had beat who and did what??? It was a tune up fight no one said any different)
Larios(shot 122 pound fighter that moved up to fight at 130 for the first time) Manny shouldve blew him away
Morales(third fight thought to be shot killed himself making 130) easy win for Manny
