Manny started out at 106 lbs.. Floyd at 130 I believe...only right it should be at well I'm picking 144 but 145 is kool.. if he don't make weight put it in the contract to pay Manny. Let's fight not play games.. Manny took on the big dogs, no one could of made dlh quit like that no one!

 

The fight will be made at 147 believe me. Roach is just trying to gain an upper hand in the negotiations. "You want 147? Give me 55/45 then" some **** like that.

 

We all know Floyd can make 146 easy so 145 catchweight is fair and logical. Floyd can weigh in at 146 or 147 if he wants but he has to pay penalties just like when he came in 2 lbs overweight in the JMM fight. Remember fight is off if Floyd weighs more than 147 lbs. I think these conditions are fair enough.

 

thats crap. Manny started at 16 and he weighed 106. When Floyd was 16 as an amatuer, his weight class was 106.

 

What ****ing planet are you from? If manny wants to hold a WW belt , he should honour the 147 limit, why is this so ****ing hard for *******s to fathom? If he and Roach insist on catchweights and refuse to allow his opponents to fight @ 147, he should **** off back down to 140.

145 is just fair for both. pac was 144 and floyd was 146 last time. if people would complain, pac should just abandon the belt. this fight need no belt anyway.

Why do people keep saying this ****? What would be the point of coming in over the catch-weight in the Marquez fight and losing money he never had to lose if he could have made the weight?

If he wants to be called the top ww, his opponent should be allowed to come in within that 147 limit. Pac having started at 106 is irrelevant. He allowed a 147 limit against Oscar, why can't he do it against Floyd? He's trying to gain every advantage he can.

Make the fight at 147 with a 50/50 purse split.

 

i wonder why the other PAC fans (i'm a PAC fan too) want to have this at 145??? i really don't get it

- IT wont weaken PBF (he wont honor it anyway)
- PBF wont really gain much weight come fight night
- There is really no significant difference in size

so...the only reason i see for this catch weight BS is money (and its funny for fans to care how much money these 2 will be getting)

17 weight divisions is enough. we don't need to sneak in middle WW between light a standard. Also, you won the WW title Pac. Defend it at WW limits (yes, it goes up to 147) or give it up.

Also, Roach is one annoying dickhead isn't he? Maybe he should start his own promotions company. He has the right personality.

 

as a fan of pac, i want this fight at 145 to be fair for both parties. of course it would be better that pac beats floyd at 147 but if floyd beats pac at 147, there would be some excuses that pac is just too small. at 145, both pac and floyd would get the just credit if either one wins.

 

Stupid catchweight fights. And why does Pac have the belt it was acatchweight fight. He is a contract weight champ not a welterweight champ. I like Pacquio but we'll never know what kind of welter he is until he actually fights at the weight
