Hatton v J.M.Marquez in talks...

A winnable fight for both men. Makes sense I suppose, although I don't find it a particularly exciting match-up. Big question will be, has Hatton got any punch resistance left - if so - he should win, IMO. Although he'll get counter punched and marked up pretty ****ing badly.

 

Do we seriously believe that Hatton can fight at anything under 154 anymore?

 

Yes - Hatton could still get down to 140 easily

 

Dont think it'll be easy....he looked ill last time out.

If he loses, surely its all over.
If he wins and looks good,big if mind you,I'd like to see him have a crack at Bradley or Khan. The fight with Marquez will answer the huge questions hanging over the Hitmans punch resistance.

Hope he proves us all wrong.

 

Could be a really good fight actually. Though I'd favour Marquez, I think Hatton is damn near done.

But I'm not sure about Lee Beard, what are his credentials? None as far as I can see. Seems to be the cheap option.

 

I don't see Hatton making 140 safely, unless he goes back to Kerry Kayes - he could barely make 140 properly before he started working with him..... which was about seven years ago.... not doing it now!

People should forget Billy Graham.He is done,but that aside why would he go back to training somebody who owes him money and laughed on TV as Floyd Snr took the **** out of him?

 

Hatton's a ***** if he fights Marquez at 147.

 

Blowing up and coming down severely reduces your career span, and most definitely takes its toll on your body. Clearly apparent in Hatton's last fight. That said, I'm not agreeing/disagreeing whether or not he can make the weight comfortably.

 

Another catchweight fight IMHO (unfortuneatly). Theres no need for either man to make 140 for this fight.

I'd expect JMM to take it via late stoppage or pretty wide on points.
