Yep...thats about Right and I called it!!!

In a Thread I created prior to the Pac/Cotto fight called:
"I Really Hope Cotto Wins...Cuz' Roach will "Get in the Way" of Pacquio vs Mayweather.."

Roach has started already. Requesting another Catchweight 145lbs, He's gonna ask for Bigger Gloves and a Smaller Ring...Just to make sure HIS FIGHTER has all the advantages.

When Mayweather began his climb up Dividional ladder...Did he ask Hernandez, Corrales, Castillo, Chavez, Baldomir to meet at a Catchweight???

In fact Oscar would only fight Floyd at 154lbs, a weight Floyd has never fought at before...Did Floyd say..."No Lets meet at 151lbs".

IF MANNY IS THE BEST (according ESB Posters) THEN FIGHT THE BEST AT HIS BEST...147LBS.

I am still trying to understand how a fighter has a 147lbs Title, but has never fought a 147LBS FIGHTER????

In the funnest part of Roach's Commentary of a Possible fight between Pacquiao vs. Mayweather:

"It will be a Boring Fight if Manny fights Floyd".

THAT'S "CODE" FOR....MANNY WILL LOSE AND GET SERIOUSLY OUTBOXED!!!!

145 sounds fair, Mayweather should NOT sign if he's going to ignore it like he did with Marquez. He ignored it there and poor Marquez didn't do much about it since he's with GoldenBoy as well, in other words he got more money but also got screwed.

Pacman and Roach are in a totally different stable, if he's not going to come at 145 they will make everyone know about it and might even cancel it.

Considering Mayweather is the bigger guy I have no problems whatsoever with this.

He can if he doesn't want to fight Floyd. Floyd hasn't fought at 140 in like 6 years. He couldn't even make 144 in his last fight.

It's not logical whatsoever. Catchweights were designed to minimize the advantage one fighter has over another when there is a big weight discrepancy. That's not the case here. Their walk around weights are within 10 lbs. of eachother. Pac has also fought twice at WW. He's 2-0 with 2 KOs. He's proven he can hurt fighters at Welter and take the punches of a true, heavy handed, Welter. There is no practical need for a catchweight here.

Scar, this is a joke. These two are about the same size. Pac has fought twice at Welter, has a WW belt, and is ranked as the no.1 Welter. He's shown power, speed, and a chin at Welter. Not only that but the same guy whining for a catchweight also said he would have no problem fighting Floyd at 147. He also said Floyd can't break a nail, will run, and that Pac will knock him out. No way in hell any sane person could be ok with a catchweight given all this.

Yes it is but the want a contracted weight set. The fighter have to weigh in at 145. Freddy knows that fighter will spend more time dropping weight then they will be training for strategy and technique.

He made 146 easy without a sweat, Floyd will have no problems making 145. Also he can weigh-in at 146 or 147 if he wishes to but he has to pay anything above 145.

As I've mentioned, this is not a welterweight fight or jr. welterweight fight. This is for P4P #1 and Fighter of the Decade titles. Any agreed weight will do and the most logical weight will be 145 lbs. based on their last weigh-in weights.

and please stop saying that "catch weight" was the reason why DLH, hatton and cotto lost!! the reason they lost was because the fought a multi talented boxer with big heart! its not becAUSE those 3 were dehydrated those three were bla bla bla! very lame excuses take a very big look at manny from being on the lowest weight to now a WW champion.. some people will say that this little man will surely slow down once he got bigger! but what happened ? the power increases! the speed is still there! thats what you call talent!! mayweather on the other hand has talent you know what??

Right now, both guys are just putting on their poker faces and bluffing, imo.

There probably won't be a catchweight when it's all said and done. Same thing with all the things Floyd said on the Sky Sports interview... it's all just to try to gain an advantage at the bargaining table.

I think, at the end of it all, we'll have a no-excuses contest somewhere around June 2010.
