Doesn't matter, he lost to Barrera 4 months before the fight and then
Raheem 4 months after. I thought he had a pretty good knowledge of what was going on actually, so what if he mis-spoke once or twice.

It's so true though, what would be said of Floyd if he beat Barrera, Morales and Marquez, lost to Cotto and Williams, and then beat Hatton and Juan Diaz.

Essentially thats what Hopkins did. Beat Tito and Oscar, then lost to Taylor at his weight and Calzaghe, but beat Winky and Pavlik (making them come up in weights) Floyd would be crucified

    Yeah he would.

One would think they'd at least reward Floyd with a higher all time ranking considering how much of a higher standard he's held to, but I suppose Floyd'll lose alot of close battles like that since the rose-colored glasses aren't used in evaluating his career.

Tito was two weights removed from his "natural weight", and still mowing down contenders at 160. Silly comparison by Floyd, what the hell had Marquez achieved at 140+? Oscar on the other hand was a clear mismatch, but Hopkins at least had the good graces to honor the catchweight.

If Floyd had schooled Marquez, Barrera, and Morales multiple times at 130, then gone on to beat Castillo and take the exact same fights that he has north of 135, he'd have considerably MORE respect given to him than he currently does, not less.

It's Mayweather propaganda at work. Don't be taken in.

No Sir, he doesn't deserve the bigger piece of the pie just cause he has been under the spotlight longer... Remember he went out for a breather and Pacquiao remained in there to make it a hard effort upwards in weight. I am not judging anyone in character but it's Floyd who's jealous about anyone else cause just let's see it on like it really is. Pacquiao didn't go after Mayweather, he went after Hoya and Hatton and now Cotto, Floyd never went after Cotto or any meaningful guy at 147 when he had the opportunity to... He said that there was nobody left 4 him to prove whatever... So why is he coming to say Cotto is not the same guy before the Margo fight and that both Morales and Barrera had seen better days when they faced Pac? He's simply jealous and he wants to prove he's the better man by comparing his performance with Marquez and Pacquiao's... We always knew that that was his idea to come back to beat JMM and then put it side to side with Pac's fights with Marquez to get a big piece of the money split in that future planned fight. I just wish Mosley or Berto would get in the middle of this...
