    Arum talking sense
GL: After a victory like this, I understand that Pacquiao has many options. You know what the biggest fight in the world is, you know what the world wants to see. It's not going to get any bigger than this. When are we going to get to see it?

The Bobfather: I would like that to be the next fight, and I would like it to happen in May. Obviously, one thing that you're absolutely correct about, is that whether it's justified or not, the public wants to see Manny Pacquiao against Floyd Mayweather Jr.. It would be a shame for boxing if that fight didn't happen. Right now, boxing has all the momentum, people are talking about boxing, the promotion on Saturday was a huge success, Mayweather also did big numbers with the Marquez fight, so boxing is on a roll. Like a football team, when everything is going like this, on a roll, you don't want to stop the momentum. For either guy to fight someone else, the momentum would stop, in my opinion.

The interview is in the Arum Makes Sense thread...I'm on my phone so it only provides me with bad links sorry

There are a sh*t ton of "lesser" fights I'd rather see Manny take than Guzman. Bradley, Urango, Diaz, Valero...

Btw Guzman is fighting a dangerous guy next in Funeka and with Juan's recent inactivity i wouldnt count out the upset.

juan urango looks a more natural choice i think...but would manny want to fight another southpaw so close to a showdown with mayweather ?

Guzman would school Manny but lose a very unfair decision, partially due to workrate.

Would have my left arm to see this fight regardless. Well maybe not an arm actually, but certainly a finger or two.

Pac by KO in the later rounds. Guzman has stamina issues and will stop running after 5 rds

Guzman needs this one opportunity, something to motivate him.

No time for prove (relative) failures like Bradley. Guzman needs to unleash his talent.

If Guzman can carry the weight, this fight could be explosive:lol:
