The majority of those, of course, being close fights that could conceivably be scored for both men. Number one is a lock though.

 

Say what you want about the heavyweight division, but this is why i love to watch the heavies fight. No matter what level of competition you watch at the lower weight classes, you will always come across a bad decision every single year. Most heavyweight fights result in KO. This is one of the reasons why the new version of Manny Pac has captured the imagination of the casual fight fan. He has KO'd his last three opponents, unlike Mayflower.

Poor list. Calzaghe/Hopkins could have gone other way but shouldnt be in list. Oscar-Sturm far worse than the ones that went against him above in the list. Taylor beat Hopkins fair and square first time round.

 

The only matches on there that you can call "robberies" are Calzaghe/B-Hop, Mayweather/Castillo and De La Hoya/Mosley 2.
You could make a case for Trinidad/De La Hoya but that was more Oscar's fault for running for the last rounds.

And even these are not the "Robberies of the Decade", do I have to remind you of Cintron/Martinez?

DLH/Sturm is one of the worst ever. Everyone knew that DLH was going to be given the decision to preserve a Hopkins fight in the Fall later that year. Everyone gets paid (DLH, Hopkins, promoters, boxing organizations) so nobody said **** about it. That was worse than a robbery. Thats as corrupt as you can get.

 

This is just dumb.

I can see that very very few of these are anywhere near being a robbery.

Calzaghe clearly beat Hopkins in an admitedly close fight. I don't think the SD against Joe can be counted as a robbery though. It is a sleight on him but not bad enough to be a robbery. I mean the result is correct so let's not get too worked up about one dumbass judge.
