Everyone needs stop thinking Mayweather Sr. and Floyd jr. is afraid of Pac stop that. Pac didn't fight Oscar at 154 his natural fighting weight but Floyd jr did. Mosley offered to come down to 142, 143 while he didn't fight Mosley cause they know after he destroyed Margarito they changed they minds. They sought out Cotto cause he was easy pickens, just like Oscar, and Hatton. He and Freddie didn't run to give Marquez a third fight Juan cause Manny to many problems, which was easy work for Floyd. But I didn't give Floyd credit for that fight and I didn't want him to fight marquez anyway to small and never fought higher than 135 so Floyd doesn't get a pass either from me.

Beating Mosley will do little for Floyd. Everyone will just say Mosley was shot so not much to gain there.

    Nonsense.

Beating Pac, given what Pac has achieved, would be a big feather in Floy'd cap.

It would certainly be a bigger feather than his victory over little JMM.

Or are you telling us he came 'out of retirement ' to fight Marquez ?

If that's NOT what you're telling us, then who should Floyd fight ?

PBF should fight Mosley or PAC
PAC should fight either Mosley or PBF
but just the same if PAC WINS. They will say. Mosley is old!

PBF should fight Pac and vise versa. I would like to see them both fight Mosley also but that's secondary, plus neither man will get much credit for a guy 10 years out of his prime.

Is there a "Greater Calling or Grand Calling" in Mayweather's unretiring???

Floyd's unretiring has nothing to do with Pac or his P4P status. It has more to do with the collapse of the American economy than anything else. Mayweather invested heavily in the ASX, and in fact there was a video of him stating he is on his way to becaoming a billionaire, which one would surmise, he was deep into speculative investing or hedge, or any of those high return, big risk portfolio.

The fact that the IRS was after him tells you something. When the ASX collapse like it did in the past year, his investment went with it as well. Fighting is his way to getting finances back and there was a reason why JMM was handpicked - good money, with less risk. In a way, he will milk as much as he can with the public's fascination with Floyd and his 0 loss. Logic dictates that he will not chose an opponent who would immediately derail his gold bearing goose train. This may even be a reason why Pac-Mayweather might not happen immediately and the talk in reliable boxing sites of a scheduled Mayweather fight in UK and possibility of a "world tour" as if it is a rock band.

I've said this before, I just don't see this fight happening ever. What is the incentive for either fighter? Money? Either fighter can schedule 2 or 3 fights a year for the next few years and make more money taking on opponents they are more then likely to defeat. Can either fighter be certain that they can win the fight? I can see the fight going either way. Yes it would be a great fight for the fans, but probably would prove to be to costly for the loser of the fight. Both fighters are north of 31 now. Maybe in a few years when they are a lot closer to being washed up, the fight may occur.
