Kessler's Promoter, Sauerland Says Give Me Neutral Judges Or No Belt!

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Kessler Promoter Wilfried Sauerland announced that his team was objecting to the referee and judges, stating that they were all based in California and that neutral judges are required by the terms of the Super Six tournament. Sauerland said if the WBA does not assign any neutral judges for Saturday, Kessler will not put his WBA super middleweight title on the line and that the fight would be a non-title bout.

i agree with the kessler team. its already in wards home town.

 

Leave it to Goosen to besmirch this tournament.This reaks of bull****.Kessler should not put his title up for grabs.

 

Goossen has always been a tit. If you watch the first Fightcamp 360 he was the one promoter out of the six being difficult and trying to stir up ****. Was obvious that nobody else trusted him when he was out of the room and they all pretty much knew he'd been leaking **** out to the media.

sounds like a fix is coming and Kessler sees it. No one in their right mind would box under those conditions.

 

Sauerland is such a cheat that he thinks everyone wants to Rob him! He's what's wrong with boxing and if Kessler acts a fool he might even get judges worse off then the ones already chosen. What a dum dum

This fight already REAKS of corruption.

Goosen has made it almost public that he aims to have Ward win this no matter if he really does or not.

This is a fight where we all need to make sure it happens right - or the whole tourney and tourney concept goes down the drain - and all the good attention the Super Six has created with it.

 

If they are local judges they should change that quick. That is just ridiculous and unneccessary in a country the size of the United States to appoint 3 guys from Ward's neighbourhood.

I don't have a problem with American judges for the fight itself.

 

IT WILL get fixed, and I think this whole thing was made just to distract Kessler.

Goosen: "We can't do this, and I know, but we still try just to distract Kessler and his team - so don't think about it Ward. Let Kessler and his team worry about it".

 

I don´t think the titles means so much in the super six...its the winner of this tourney that is the real champ...thats what it all comes down to at the bottom line.

The Super Six rules should be followed in this fight...max. 1 american judge and the ref cannot be american. If they can´t live up to the rules then the fight should be called off...period.
