Yes it is, but you don't have to take roids to have monster pimples on your back.

This one is killer, but I'd rather paint them in a close up, instead of head to toe. (see above)

Dude that picture was shopped before the Fight.

Oh and Damn Jetski you finished that painting in less than 24 hours? Dont those things take like 3-4 days? You got some serious talent bro. I fail at drawing stick figures if given 24 hours.

Which painting? I don't think I've posted any on this thread, only my blog to view. Your not talking about this photoshop job someone did, are you?

Your right about it taking many days to paint in oils. Some take me 2 weeks & over 60 hrs. to finish. I have to try & speed up the process, but the finished product will def have a diff look then what I've done in the past, but thats OK, something new!

Well, back around 1984, just before I got into civil engineering, I worked at a huge machine shop. This spanish guy out in the shop was a big Duran fan (just like myself) & he asked me to paint him a Duran. This is the image I used, panted it in watercolor & sold it to him for I think $45!

Man, I would love to have that one back. It was an awesome image to work from. Duran looks like the devil!

Cool, I'm civil/structural engineer myself but only been at it few years, anyway if its not too rude to ask - roughly how much are these paintings selling for? I understand if you would prefer not reveal that information publicly.

    cheers

No problem. This one I shipped from New Jersey to Australia & with shipping included, all my supplies, I think I charged him $575. Which is very reasonable. Go research some sports artists & see what they charge...and the quality of their work.

BTW, where do you practice your civil engineering? You guys have work? Very bad here in NJ. I've been out of work 17 months!
