I've watched both Pac vs JMM and Pac vs Cotto in slowmo.

And honestly I don't see the massive improvement everyone is talking about. Take away the size factor and JMM at 130 shits all over Cotto at 145. Pac is not really a better p4p fighter today than he was back then, regardless of what Roach is saying. Cotto was just an easier puzzle to solve.

If you pay attention really you see Pac's skills are not that much different. Everything he did against Cotto he was already able to do when he fought Marquez except it was just harder to pull off (he still managed to pull of some sick stuff)

maybe Pac's p4p power is better at 140 than 130 because he isn't killing himself to make weight, but if you only take skills into consideration, I think he's pretty much the same. Which is not a knock on him obviously cause both Pac and JMM were amazing in that fight.

maybe you should try super slow-mo this time.

Pac has improved all around-doesnt mean hes a completely different fighter. Hes still the same 5'6 Filipino

Could me more about his p4p speed , Marquez was probably used to facing faster guys than Cotto was ....

Pac's right hand, his much more versatile with it, his footwork is better, balance, even ducking punches.

I think it may just not be a great 2 fights to compare. Cotto isn't a hard guy to figure out. Jab, move forward, jab, move forward, combo, move forward. VEry good at a lot of things, not great at any.

JMM is a nasty counter puncher, and can fight off the back foot. This has seemed to give Pac trouble (about the only thing to).

But I agree, he (Pac) seems stronger, and was already a great fighter. I think he still gets most of his power from his left. I think he still lacks solid D. I think he is still fast as hell. NOthing new, but he didn't really need to do much new anyway.

dude, I watch alot of fights in slowmo. IMO best way to watch a fight between two elite fighters. At that level these guys really see each other's movements in slowmo and their reaction times are so fast that when you watch it in real-time its hard to see what they are really doing.

You're undeniably a *******, but one of the better ones that I can have a discussion with. Genuine question, don't you ever get the urge to ram your fist down the throats of both Scatterbrain and Enzo? Seriously now.

His D is really underrated. He got tagged a few against Cotto but not much. You'll be hard pressed to see him getting hit by more than 5-10 power shots per round.
