The $10 million guarantee and the rest to the winner is an interesting proposition. It's not going to happen since the fight will simply go 50/50, but I think that'd be a great way to do it. It would make the promotion that much bigger to know that there are literally millions of dollars on the line for the guy who is willing to risk it all in the ring.
Yeah It would add to the excitement, but it will never happen, and even a fighter who was 100% convinced he was going to win, would be foolish to accept that kind of deal.
Floyd is going to fight the same fight regardless of the purse split. He's going to apply masterclass boxing at the absolute highest level to get himself the win. The same way he has 40 times in the past as a professional.

60-40 to the winner is probably a bad idea. Now we will get to see Floyd potshot and run once he feels he has the fight in the bag. I mean why risk it, the extra 20% could easily be $5 - 10 mill. Heack for that amount, Pac might run himself once he feels he is ahead in the scorecard.

People don't seem to get that. Floyd would be a fool to not try to at least get 60/40. that extra 10% could equal $6million. You gotta try to negotiate. Who here has ever bought a car and offered the full sticker price right off that bat. That being said, if it gets down to being the difference in making the fight, I'll be highly dissapointed if Floyd doesn't settle at 50/50
Like I've said before, the ball is in Mayweather's court. They turned down Mosley, and now if they turn down Pac, what else is there for Floyd? Easy money fight in the UK against hatton? He'd lose all respect in the US though.

I just want to understand some logic for a second. So a guy who is undefeated, some as P4p #1 still, who has more to lose btw if he loses the fight.
