I'll take Adamek by stoppage. Rahman is slow and chinny.

WHY? Another slow washed up heavyweight for adamek. Rahman has as much chance as golota did. A punchers, but adamek will beat cheese chinned rahman to the punch and end the fight around the 8th.

    WOW!

Adamek will win this. It's still surreal to me that he's campaigning at heavyweight, but honestly given his performance against Golota (who's not that much more shot than Rock) and the fact that Zuri Lawrence stunned the ex-champ and mashed his face up not too long ago. Rahman at any point really has to be considered the puncher against the technically superior Adamek, and at this point if he's letting guys like Sykes (and very nearly Lawrence) make it the full ten he's not hurting the numb-jawed Adamek.

I guess it will be good target practice for Adamek. after this stiff, maybe he'll get in there with someone that has a pulse. Ziggy said the are NOT gonna rush Adamek as a HW. As much as we'd like to see that Titanic HW battle, it gonna take some time before that happens.

I think it's a brilliant matchup. If he can beat Rahman then he can go after a young, good fighter. That's three fights at heavyweight that puts him in title contention - though I don't think he can beat either Klitschko or Haye. Still, it's a nice quick path to the top.

    Agreed.

    Adamek's HW campaign is weird.

Rahman has been done for at least 6 years now. Adamek wins and he wins by knockout in the mid-rounds.

I agree, Tomeks team has the right idea, I hope its televised...maybe HBO will pick it up and match him up against Arreola next.

It's just another "name" I think mate.

Hopefully he will step up after this so we can see just how he will cope with a good heavyweight.

    Yeah.

Doesn't do much for the old legacy though.

Nah, not really. The Golota win wouldn't either.

First off where the **** is the link

Second, bad fight for Rahman. I think this thread is BS. Rahman's manager said on ESPN a while back they had 3 fights for Rahman. A tune up which is in Dec. Then a match with Tua and maybe Holyfield. Rahman wants to go out on a high note. A fight with Adamek is not going to help.

Adamek would win by KO inside of 8. I am a big Rahman fan and I think he needs to steer clear of this one.

Seems the way to do things these days is to find the oldest washed up people you can dredge up from the sludge of the riverbed and put them in the ring and it is supposed to be some kinda great accomplishment.

Rahman, if this is true, hasn't fought in a year and was a late substitute for Wlad. Pretty much a no point fight for Adamek and adds zero to his resume at this point. Adamek doesnt have to go straight to a Wlad type guy, but he should at least put a legitimate fighter on his resume. This is not a fight for the fans, this is a crap fight for Adamek to line his pockets a little more.
