Yeah I don't expect it to happen at all, Ward isn't exactly a big puncher.

Yeah tbh i couldn't think of any other bets that took my fancy and i could only do the one so thought it aint my money so i have a punt. I thought it would of been 40's or 50's. You never know in boxing but as you lads say it's highly unlikely.

 

Not sure Ward has the power to stop Kessler, and certainly not in round one.

Ward ud. He has too much skills for the one dimensional one two, block, walk forward, one two, block. etc. etc. He lost rounds to pedermo ffs. He is slow and has none existent lateral movement. No footwork of note. Ward is the better athlete, quicker more schooled and can throw 3s and 4s something kessler doesn't throw for a reason.

Ward dances on him all night long to an easy ud.

 

Looking at that Weigh In. I think Andre looks a little..like what we all said he's going into the unknown...you could see he just wanted to jump on the scales...plus all the hype you could see he was trying to stay composed...this may be a bad thing but in someways could be a good thing as he may stay concentrated for the whole fight...he has the right pedigree and temperament. I expect a fast fun fight with some fantastic boxing and some dramatic phases but the more i look at this fight the more i fancy Ward to send the Viking Warrior back to Kobenhavn empty handed. I like both guys and Kessler is part English so part of me wants him to win but part of me wants Ward to win..end of the day boxing wins...just hope both guys come out safe and put on a great fight.

 

I'm picking Ward to win this fight by a close decision, I mean real close in the region of 115-113 and this one will probably be debated long into the coming weeks and people will ask 'WTF is happening with decisions in this tournament'?

The reasons for my picking Ward for this are plentiful, nothing to do with the hometown advantage either. I was going to do this more indepth like the Pac/Cotto prediction but I'm heading off. Maybe tomorrow.

 

I'm picking Kessler by stoppage. Watched some footage of Ward tonight,he's quite slippery but doesn't possess the power to get to Kessler. Got a feeling ward may nick a few early rounds but Kessler will use his strength advantage and force the stoppage in the mid to late rounds.

 

Watching more of Ward in action at the mo,he mixes the head and body shots beutifully.
