It looks bad for Calzaghe right now but don't forget Kessler could still win the Super Six, not that I think he will.

is that your definition of racism? The point was Bout the UK being dropped into the equation.

I know but I'm asking a hypothetical question which is directly relaed to the hypothetical point of the thread:let me ask like this seeing as your restricting it to the super six tourney. what happens if Taylor beats ward?

keep them coming if you can't make your points without them

besides some of the foul play on ward's part I take nohing away from the fact he smashed kessler. But calzaghe dealt with a younger fresher and more active kessler who had just beat andrade I believe. People can change ove a period of time hence the arguments about jc beating a nowhere near as good rjj and/or Hopkins

try comprehend because I know your itching to insult as we will see below:

if it is argued kessler is rubbish then ward didn't beat anyone so still has to prove himself even more but I don't see kessler as rubbish he got bat by the better man.

Also do we seriously Believe ward is better than calzaghe? We have to wait and see but right now the calzaghe who beat kessler would beat ward.

    see my above point

    yeah ok son

  5. So wrong. What an idiotic comment. Brits aren't blind patriots like Americans, it's about a 50/50 split for & against Calzaghe (and might I add about a 60/40 split AGAINST Hatton - check out the Brit forum)

I thought Kessler would win, yes, but openly admit it was through ignorance, I'd only saw Ward fight about twice before, and thought Kessler was a machine who could fight 100 rounds if needs be, who was simply out-thought by Calzaghe for 12 rounds.

As I watched what unfolded tonight, I was ecstatic, a total breath of fresh air for the division. I literally think either Abraham or Ward KO Froch at some point in the competition.

The only reason the American's on the forum are crowing about Ward winning as much as they are is because at the beginning of the tournament there were a ton of threads about how the Americans were all the weak links, that none of them deserved to be there, that the Euros would sweep the first round, and blah blah blah...

That sort of talk breeds ire, and now you're seeing the result.

Ok .. you want to blow hot air. If Taylor beats Ward then that still leaves some question marks about Ward doesn't it? You need to fight at a consistent high level of competition for a number of fights before you can gauge a fighter well.

How about this question.. what would have happened if Calzaghe didn't duck the best virtually his whole career?

Your responding to the argument that Ward is better then Calzaghe.

Were talking about Calzaghe's legacy being diminished because of this fight. Not about who would beat who between Ward and Calzaghe. Get it?

obviously Calzaghe would have had his ass beat by Dawson its pretty clear right now, its all very clear I always knew he quit while he was ahead.

  11. You ****ing idiots do realise that by saying Kessler/Calzaghe are ****, it means your boy just proved NOTHING.

Get a grip, Calzaghe was WORLD CLASS, Kessler is WORLD CLASS, Ward is ****ing amazing.

They aren't "****" no one is saying that. What is being said is that they are not on the pedestal alot of nuthuggers and even rational fans put them. Ward won the title and thats an accomplishment even if you want to claim he proved nothing.. which is not being said

  13. Who claimed he proved nothing? Read what I said.
