Which is why Froch resorted to rabitt punching.

people underestimate froch cos hes not a pretty fighter ...hands down , low swinging stance .... it aint text book boxing skills but hes got the heart of a lion , throws big punches from all sorts of angles , has a granite chin and cuts the ring off well (except against Dirrell who was literally running most of the night) ....

Mate if a boxer as slippery as Dirrell doesnt wanna trade then it aint happening ... i liked the dirrell who boxed rounds 10-12 he looked very good but it was too much too late ... i hope he has leanrt and he could well upset Abraham ....

kessler is just too one dimensional (it's a great dimension btw) but not good against guys that show him movement. Froch has more to his game than just one style and would fair much better against ward because of it.

he is effective in what he does but i believe dirrell beat him & he clearly hurt him, froch's chin is overrated imo & carl believes the hype because he just tries to walk through punches margarito style & i think against heavier punchers like kessler, abraham & even ward at some point he's gonna come unstuck.

I think it was the 11th round he buzzed him and it just took Froch about 2-3 seconds to shake it off. It was just a hurtful shot imo. He wasn't on his last legs or anything but it got his attention.

I hope you joking?! Rabbit punching? When your opponent spends half the time ducking down, holding, or on the floor what else are you suppost to do, you throw some punches they are gonna go DOWN WARDS. And what just cause he threw a couple of Rabbit punches he's not genuine, your not making sense

I suppose your gonna have a go at Ricky Hatton for punch Mayweather in the back of the head after showing his back

Kessler didnt land coz Kessler only had three punches

    1) Jab
    2) Straight right, which is thrown after the Jab
    3) Uppercut in the inside

Andre Ward neutralized all three of these punches.

He leaned over to his right not getting in the inside, so Kessler cant effectively Jab, and thus not throw a right hand

when he did get in the inside, he clinched, so Kessler cant throw a right uppercut.

Kessler's punches come from the same angle, that is right in front of you, while froch uses angles, and goes for that leaping uppercut, and doesnt lead with the Jab always as Kessler was. So therefore Froch is more difficult to predict, than Kessler, making him IMO a harder opponent to figure out than Mikkel Kessler

i watched the fight twice ...first time i thought this hasnt gone his way but second time Froch a winner , Dirrell just didnt do enough in th close rounds.... i wish he would put his hands up and in AA or Kess he could feel the pain in power punches .... but we shall see in the coming months ..:good

Don't forget that dirrell even though I gave him the nod was in full retreat mode against froch in order to try and win that way.
Froch will KO kessler and make wards victory seem much less of an achievement.:deal
