I'm not sure why people are so shocked by Pacman carrying over his power and speed. I think he was really draining himself at the lower weights and probably explains why he was getting knocked down/out in his earlier fights. In some of his early weigh in pics he was extremely ripped and looked like he had bodybuilders level of bodyfat!

I've got a cousin who drinks like a mother****er, I'm telling you, I'm still on my 2nd drink and this guys downed 7-8 pints, and he's as slim as me, no beer belly, nothing. While I drink about a couple of times a month, this guy is drinking like 3-4 times a week, and he doesn't exactly hold back either:lol:

I'm an ectomorph myself and don't have to worry too much about blowing up in weight but this guy is something else. Alcohol is very calorie dense too. I'm not sure what would happen to me if I drank as much as him.

I am impressed by the strength and conditioning work that Ariza had done with the Pacman.
If you look at Pac, he has big calves and well developed leg muscles (for the explosive power and footwork in the legs) whilst his upperbody has less muscle mass for fast punching!

Have to take into account Manny is a genetic freak, the 7000 calorie diet doesn't seem to work for Ricky.

7000 cal a day but how are those caleries made up.
How much is he getting from protein. Your body can not store protein so unless you have a need for it it just goes straight through your system without being used up.
I could put anyone on a 10000 cal a day diet without them putting on much in the way of fat.
In fact i could put them in the gym for a few hours a week and get them to lose fat and grow muscle like hell.

Ariza said alot of it are protein, he also have to monitor pacs kidney and liver to make sure they are fine.

A calorie is a calorie, doesn't matter what source it comes from, can eat 2500 calorie worth of pure sugar, if it's below your maintenance you will lose weight. Accordingly if you're on 7 to 10k of protein you will put on weight, if it's above your maintenance. Further, studies show ideal protein intake for a bodybuilder is somewhere between 1.0 - 2.0 grams per lbs bodyweight, anything above this is a waste.

as pac is constantly trearing and building muscle then the protein is not getting broken down into from amino acids into glucose and then converted into fat.
eating 7000 cal of suger and eating 7000 cal of protien while training is going to end up with different results. in one you are going to lose your muscle and the other you are going to keep/gain muscle.

pac does not need to run catabolic or keto diets to lose weight so can afford to give his body what it wants.

not all calories are created equal

A trained natural athlete can only build a few lbs of lean muscle in a year, like I already stated numerous studies have shown no benefits upward of 1-2grams protein per lb bodyweight. So eating tons of protein will not serve any benefit, like any energy that is not used it will be stored, basic thermodynamics.
