    which one is it?

no trying to take anything away from ward, it was a great win. maybe it's because I didnt get to see the fight till 2 hours ago and after reading **** on here last night I expected it to be more of a masterful performance than what I saw. Ward whooped kesslers ass but he was looking pretty sloppy for most of the fight and I'm disappointed kessler didn't capitalize on that. how did you guys see it?

Ward was off balance and sloppy, yet Kessler did not take advantage of it.

I was disappointed in Kessler's naive decision to fight with Ward's referee also. He should have had that changed before the fight started. I do not understand why Ward refused to fight in the tournament unless he got all his fights in his home town also. The huge billy goat intentional head butt is what broke the camel's back with me. I hope there is a rematch if Kessler can get by Froch. Froch is sloppy, but he comes to fight like a mad man, so who knows? Just give both fighters a level playing ground, but all of Ward's fights have to be within his home town.

I think it was a combination of impress and disappointment. Disappointted because Ward didnt knock him out and also because Kessler was not as good as expected. Ward fought a smart fight which was very impressive and kessler broke down looking like a shitless skinny white boy getting punked and clowned on. This was what the European deserved after doing Dirrell wrong. That fight should of at least been a draw. Freaken cheaters!

You do know Europe is not a country right? You do know that Froch and Kessler are from different countries right? Or are you just that stupid?

    More disappointed by Ward.

I hoped the SOG and all that would stop him from going but and elbow crazy. Ward has some obvious skills, but against a severely concussioned fighter anyone can look good.

Hell, Ward looked far better against a severely concussioned Kessler than he did against Miranda..!!!

I was more impressed with Ward a lot of people didn't think he stood a chance against Kessler and he outboxed him fairly easy. The headbutts were unfortunate though even still it's not like Kessler would of miraculously won a round without them and considering this was Ward's first championship fight and only his second actual step up in competetion it's impressive.

A mixture of both, disappointed with Kessler and impressed with Ward. I thought Ward is just another american hypejob, but he is a quite good fighter.

...still the dirty style pisses me off....

I was impressed with Ward, but I thought he would be difficult especially with the home advantage. I rooted for Kessler and hoped he would KO Ward or at least get a close decision, so I was definitely more disappionted with Kessler, very sloppy performance leaving Ward nothing to worry about. The fight was probably the easiest to score of the three first stage bouts btw.

I was impressed with Ward.ANDRE dominated Kessler which not many smw can do.WARD exposed Kessler as a slow and robotic fighter, actually Calzaghe already exposed Kessel.

    Where have you been?

Have you read any of the articles about how its 2 wins for the Europeans and 1 for USA.

So the media say so then it must be correct?

Listen up now. If you need to put a nationalistic angle on this tournament and make it a Euro vs. America thing then you're not a real boxing fan.

I am from Denmark and I say good for the tournament that Ward won because he was the best fighter that night.

About the Dirrel Froch fight I don't give two flying ****s about wether Dirrell got "robbed" or not simply because fight was boring as ****. I blame both of the fighters for that.

And lastly being from Denmark I hoped Kessler would win. However I wanted Taylor to win because I like his style plus he seems like a cool dude. I do not have a preference for European fighters and I think most other people from European countries feel the same way.

After the Calzaghe fight I thought Kessler would be able to adept to a fighter with fast hands, high punch output and awkward angles. He couldn“t, so I was dissapointed. I still expect him to get into half-final.

Dissapointed in Kessler's inability to do anything in there. He's just not the same fighter he was back when he fought Joe Cal.

While I was both disapointed and impressed with Andre Ward. Impressed because he clearly showed he's a world class fighter to be reckoned with in this tournament, but disapointed in the ugly tactics he used to win this fight. He had the talent and a good gameplan to win this fight without all those **** ugly tactics he used. Basically, I can't stand to watch this guy fight. Hideous style of fighting as far as I'm concerned.
