Other way around. your way of thinking comes straight from the Dark Ages. You should update it a bit.

btw. I´m not European or German. I am a proud Bavarian! :good

Wrong! So-called 'Native Americans' were immigrants to the continent at some time between about 15000 and 40000 years ago. What is now considered the native population of the Americas is descended from what is believed to have been a single group of people crossing through Alaska.

Basically they are all just American-based Africans according to Odo's world view.

Well,I am not an Englishman or a German. As I said there are some countries out there where people may think the way you seem to think they think.
I lived in Spain, the Czech Republic, and Germany.None of the natives there would have considered me to be their compatriot.Ludicrious! And neither would I have considered them to be my compatriots.
Anyway! The weird way of thinking is still limited to a handful of countries. The vast majority of countries, nations, and peoples have a different vision of life and nation.
:lol:I really get a good laugh when following your logic that a Arab born in China is Chinese,or an African born in Russia is Russian,or a Mexican born in Turkey is Turkish.
But who knows? Maybe I am still a caveman from the dark ages whereas you smart western people are so clever, democratic, and intelligent:D

Of course you are then you are citizen of these nations. If not then not. I have many friends here, Berlin, from Muslimic state. They all see themselves as Germans and Turkish or German and Iranian. The first Generation sees istelf as Turkish or Iranian, the sevond Generation as both and the third generation as Germans of Turkish or Irnain descent.

    That´s how the world goes.

That´s how it is in the most countries in the world.

Well all I can say is thank you to the African continent that gave us the people who discovered electricity, the steam engine and later the internal combustion engine, vaccination, modern medecine and the development of rule of law. Oh wait, In this world view I'd be African aswell right? So go us!

Next time when somebody puts up a poll like this, there should be a definition about "European" or whatever.

Other than that, we are all homo sapiens (the few aliens and reincarnated Atlanteans among us excluded...:silly). And a very few fighters did so glorious fights, they are probably not human at all :bbb.

Amir Khan is as British as I am! He was born here, lived here all his life and simply has Pakistani heritage. Why is that enough for some people to decide his nationality for him? Bollocks!

Ukraine and Belarus are in Europe. Russia is debatable. It is mostly in Asia but it considers itself European socially and culturally and politically and wants to be thought of as European.

Yes! And not weird at all, unless you are a card carrying BNP weirdo. If an Arab is born in China and takes in their language, culture and society then of course he is Chinese.

Is Floyd Mayweather not American? Is Bruno not British?

Dunno why I'm bothering with this actually, you're full of ****.

So do Brits. That doesn't escape the fact that we are geographically and politically part of the European continent.

Are you hoping we will change this to Eurasia, so you can have a clearly defined winner in this poll?
