I'm very excited for this fight. The first fight left us with many unanswered questions. I remember the outrage over the referee's job and the weeks of arguing about whether or not he made the right call.

We finally get the rematch everyone was asking for. Best of all, Bute gets to set the record straight on the big stage that is HBO. With a possible fight against Kelly Pavlik looming on the horizon. Bute can't just win. He has to win impressively.

Unfortunately, I think the fight won't live up to the hype. I could be wrong (God knows I've been many times before) but I think it will be a stinker.

Bute will most likely "run", hold and clinch his way to a point victory. (Kinda like the first fight). I don't think he needs to do that to win. Bute has the skills to outbox Andrade til Sunday. He just need to believe in himself.

I hope I'm wrong and Bute puts on a masterful performance. The biggest statement Bute could make would be to knock out Librado Andrade. It would establish him as THE man in the division and increase the fans' interest into a possible Pavlik-Bute fight for 2010.

I guess we'll know this week who the officials will be. I think it's safe to say it won't be Marlon B. Wright.

I'm with you on the holding. I think Bute could actually do a much better job if he doesn't hold as much. It's doesn't play well into his skill set. He should concentrate on boxing and moving instead.

By the way, people in Quebec City might like to know there is a public workout scheduled for Tuesday 11am at the "Gallerie de la Capitale".

    Lucian Bute, Librado Andrade, etc...

Could you tell us who is the man then?

I think that since last Saturday, the job is open. Who is the best 168 pounds? Bute, Ward, Abraham? If Bute knocks Andrade (I'm not counting on that but it's possible), he makes a solid statement. Is it enough? Maybe not but it would surely be enough to say he's in the race.

    There`s good knews from Romania.

Despite a couple of days ago no television was interested to pay the money asked by Interbox for runing the fight live(probably due to the local hour of match 6.00 AM wich make the money return from commercials ineffective), the unexpected hapened:

-Folowing the Romanian Box Federation President, Rudel Obreja, a mountain resort`s maire succeeded to contribute and also raised funds from Romanian bussiness men
in total amount to pay the sum asked by Interbox.

    CONGRATULATIONS FOR ALL !

SO WE`LL HAVE BUTE - ANDRADE II LIVE ON NATIONAL TELEVISION !

    TOUS POUR BUTE !

Ward is over Bute, so is Kessler still and Abraham soon enough.

On resumes alone Froch is aswell.

Firstly, Bute's resume does not boast one marquee fighter at SMW. He has beaten bums, gatekeepers and fringe competitors. He does not have the resume befitting 'The Man' of a division.

Secondly, should Bute defeated Andrade then he will be defeating a fighter he has already beaten. When you consider that Andrade has done nothing since his defeat to Bute and has not become a greater fighter in the mean time then victory will not enhance Bute's standing in the SMW division. If he is not 'The Man' now then logic dictates that he will not become the man by overcoming Andrade.

Thirdly, Bute is not a competitor in the S6. The S6 is at the centre of the SMW division; everyone else has, therefore, been marginalised. You should not see 'The Man' of a division being marginalised by whatever else is going on in 'his' weight division.

At the end of the S6, the successful fighter will not only hold two belts but the two most prestigious belts on offer.

In conclusion, no-one is 'The Man' in this division. That question will be answered in May/June 2011.
