i think khan wuld run circles round hatton and box the ears off him. Would love to see the fight but apart from the money doesnt do much for either boxer.

khan wins- hated for beating british legend
khan loses- goes bk 2 steps and ppl argue he cant even bt an ageing hatton

hatton wins- so what, khan (apparently) isnt good anyway/glass chin bollocks
hatton loses- hes ****/ was never that gd

Its certainly a fight that gives me goosebumps.

& what an opportunity for Hatton to get one over on Roach, who frankly has been a nasty SOB whenever he discusses anything Ricky & Hatton.

This fight sells on so many levels, please make it happen!

Im on record as saying Hatton has one big win left in him & shouldnt retire just yet, & if the opportunity arises to get his hands on Khan? Im guessing Hatton like me would fancy his chances of one last great win.

    Khan has now said this:

"I think he (Hatton) should come back and not walk out on his career with a defeat. It is going to be hard mentally as you're only as good as your last fight and that will be running through his mind. But I'm sure he can learn from what I went through, getting the defeat and then within a few fights coming back and being the world champion. I'm sure he can do the same."

I think Warren has done a fantastic job with Khan considering his 'flaws'

World Champion a few fights after getting sparked out, making Khan a shed load of cash...

Not many could've done a better job.

Yeah Khan, Hatton can learn from what YOU went through :-( Oh how you've had it tough in your career fighting blown up strawweights.

Only problem with this fight is Khan might win.

Warren has done very well with Khan considering (like Uzi says). Most of the "hate" comes from the fact that people hate Warren and Khan is the Olympic golden boy. Add those 2 together and it was a cert he'd get flak from a lot of boxing fans.

    I see your point.

But, looking at it the other way, perhaps Khan's flaws might have been corrected earlier had they fought properly sized opposition earlier - as it was, they could always point to the fact that plenty of ten fight novices can be decked by guys like Willie Limond.

Did Khan really earn his shot?

    Did he deserve it?

The answer to both questions is NO - but who in boxing does earn their shots at world titles these days, especially with the WBA.

ppl like u always pick holes in every way to slate him. U know as well as anybody reading that article that the point he is making is that sure hatton lost but he can come back, if he (khan) can get knocked out in 54 secs and 3 fights later then hatton can learn from that.

****ing hell pisses me off when ppl like u write such stupid **** just because u wana nitpick at every little thing and make someone like khan look bad in any way possible

    Calm down fella.

Does sound a bit odd that Khan, the younger guy, is talking as if he's the experienced vet and Hatton's a noob

    did he deserve it, no
    did he earn it, no

but remember kotelnik CHOSE to fight khan, it was kotelniks voluntary defence. So if khan beat him after kotelnik chose to fight him, that does make khan a legitimate champ, even if he didnt deserve to fight kotelnik in the first place

Sorry to snip your post BB but part of the deal of winning an Olympic medal is that you get to short cut the road to a world title. Thats just how it is.

lol rant over but yh u must see my point though, its like every little interview ppl will try and pick something out. i agree hes not the brightest chap and hes confident, but so what. Hes not any more rgant than froch who thinks hes thesiah, or david haye who thinks hes muhammad ali reincarnated. ppl need to give the lad a break hes only 22 hes got another 2/3 yrs before he even peaks

I never said Khan wasn't a legitimate champion.

What I believe is irrelevant, but you can't help but be a bit cynical about his career to date.

Certainly more so than someone like, say..... Froch, or Haye - even Tyson Fury perhaps at a lower level.
