What I saw against Taylor was Abraham standing in the middle of the ring with his guard up for 1:30 seconds. He wasn't covering his body with his
"long forearms", he was wide open to the body.

Judges score partially landed punches all of the time. ANd how is Dirrells jab less accurate? Do you have a state for that? And its not wild, just coming from more unorthodox angles, making it harder to time and react to.
And Abraham is going to be chasing him down? Sorry, maybe you've mistaken Abraham for Mike Tyson? Oh and I hope Abraham tries to counter punch Dirrell. Yep try and counter punch the fastest fighter in the tournament brilliant. You should be in Abrahams corner. I'd win a bundle.

    Check left upper cut? :rofl

Yep, he's a poorer jabber, but with more power. MEaning Dirrell will have an easier time outboxing him, all he has to do worry about is not getting caught.

I know a silly fanboy immediately when I hear late round KO. Like "Froch late round KO over Dirrell" or "Kessler late round KO over WArd"

It immediately lets me know how little they know about the sport.

Dirrell fans should be worried. AA has got that sick one punch KO power that I have not seen at MW/SMW since Nigel Benn and Julian Jackson. He can take you out with a one huge punch with having to get you buzzed you or dazzed.

I'll agree with that. Abraham has REAL power. Kessler and Froch have fake power. They where their guy down then stop them late. Abraham on the other hand has 1 punch KO power. I dont even remember him hitting Taylor that much but every punch hurt Taylor. Thats why im less confident then the Froch fight, but I still think that Dirrell will win.

Direll's everything is less accurate. You trying to tell me Direll is a more accurate puncher then Jermain Taylor?
Direll is the wildest fighter in the tournament.

AA does not chase anyone down. All strategic, his opponents come to him.

Watch the Ayala fight. Would not be surprised if the same punch in the 12th that caught ayala catches direll.

I was thinking the same thing in the TAYLOR fight. AA hardly landed flush but TAYLOR was visibly shaken up by AA's strength and heavy handed punches.

I think Kessler's power is ovverated but Froch does have very good power but probably less than AA.

The myth about Kesslers power started when he knocked out a shot Bayer who was never any good even in his prime.

Dirrell is wild, in the later rounds he landed basically every punch he threw at Froch. Taylor on the other and was making Froch look like a defensive genius on the night. The punch that hurt Taylor was a counter punch by Froch dodging 2 of his punches. So when it comes down to it, Dirrell was more accurate in the late rounds then Taylor was.

You think dirrell gonna come to Abraham? Abrahams gonna need to have educated pressure. ANd without a lengthy jab that can back Dirrell to the roach, I dont see it happening. If you combined Froch's weird body type with Abrahams boxing ability, I'd agree with you, Dirrell wouldnt have a chance. But thats not happening.

And I wouldnt be surprised if Dirrell wins a wide decision. I could see Abraham catching Dirrell big as Dirrell likes to back up with his hands down, but I would bet on the former.

Direll was becoming more aggressive in the later rounds due to Froch upping his own aggression. I still don't agree Direll is a more accurate puncher then Taylor. Never seen AA's face so busted up then it was against JT.

Direll will COME to AA and yes I do believe that, AA is is probably on par with Froch as far as speed is concerned, both are slower then the rest of the field. I believe Direll will show aggression against AA.

If you looked at my previoius picks, Direll was my dark horse of the tournament and I was one of the first to say Direll beats AA but the more I watched the Froch vs Direll, the more I am leaning towards in AA victory, AAs defence being the difference.

A JT that wasnt bitched up would have won that fight. Thats what im saying. AA is there for the taking by a fast fighter who isnt afraid, who isnt basic. Thats why I think Dirrell will win. Like I said. Rewatch that fight. Look at how many right hands JT threw. I think I could count them k one hand. All he did was jab and won 4 rounds. AA gives up rounds like paris hilton gives up *****. He will gift Dirrell atleast 4-5 rounds before he gets started.

I dont know. People say Dirrell lacks ring IQ. I dont think he lacks that much ring IQ. His grandfather looks like he's a good trainer. I think he will tell Dirrell to jab and stay away and only commit when the opportunities there.

I agree AA's defense is rock. But I think its alot like wInky wrights defense. There for the taking against a active fighter.

Although many people foresee Arthur doing the stalking, I actually think Abraham wants Dirrell coming towards him. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Arthur didn't chase Andre in order to make Andre become the aggresor and test Dirrell's will- it's easy enough to paw a jab out at that turtle shell guard like Jermain was after he experienced Abraham's power, but will Dirrell feel confident enough in his own chin to sit down on his shots and throw combinations, and can he maintain his composure and fight plan once he gets countered? That dynamic is really the X-factor in the fight for me right now. I'm excited to see how it turns out! :happy

I think AA about round 8, I think he will be able to catch him and hurt him. I don't think there is anyone in this class that hits as hard, my buddy knows Taylor and said that they said even the blocked punches AA threw were hurting Taylor (I guess that isn't saying too awful much, but...)
It will be an interesting show

I am sorry, ANY version of JT as 168, loses to AA, like ANY version of AA loses to JT at 160, just my opinion. Jt should have never made the jump to 168, he is not the same fighter that he was at 160.

Yes I agree his grandfather does look like a good trainer. I still don't think jabbing is going to be enough against AA, AA fights in spurts, but the more clear punches, in my opinion will be from AA and the more active obviously will be Direll. Direll was getting caught to the body from Froch in the earlier rounds, I guarantee AA will be targetting the body the first 4 or 5 rounds more then DIrells head.

Yes AA's defense is similar to Winkys and all the comparisons stop there. Winky is feather fisted and his opponents exploited just that. AA in my opinion is a VERY good counter puncher with power.

I'm not sure of this but for sure JT has no power weighing more than 160. JT's real problem though, of course, is that glass chin.

Abraham by K.O. He is a smarter fighter, has big k.o power, while Dirrell has shown to have some defensive liabilities and not the best chin.

I'm assuming that Dirrel already learned from his lost to Froch . . . and I'm expecting him to throw more punches . . . so I'm picking Dirrel on points.
