Dont know about that. I dont hold JT in high regard, but if he threw a few more right hands, he could have won a few more rounds. A taylor who isnt afraid for his life probably could have done this.

Froch was able to touch, emphasis on touch, Dirrells body because he has a freakish 75inch reach. Abraham has a 72 inch rich and doesnt extend himself like Froch does when he's punching. Dont know if Abraham is quick enough or long enough to connect with a Dirrell on his toes.

Dont know about very good. Winky Wright faced far better competition then Abraham. WHo has Abraham beaten so far? Miranda and JT. Lets see him against Dirrell first before we call him a very good counter puncher. Sounds like how people were calling Kessler a very good counter puncher after beating Mundine and Andrade.

Seems as if AA has become the European flagboy, all based on a win over a fighter that should have never been invited. In Taylor what AA had was a guy that way like him moving up, a guy that had no confidence in himself, and a guy that has shown that he falls apart late in tough fights. Dirrell is a different story, he is a bigger stronger fighter that isnt likely to fade down at the end nor will he stand in front of AA. I wasnt sold on AA going into this thing and beatting Taylor didnt change my mind. I still think that AA will likely lose his next two fights.

Abraham is a lot more disciplined than Froch. Dirrell is sloppy and makes a lot of mistakes. If AA is there to capitalize on those mistakes, the fight ends right there.

Direll shows flashes of brilliance, but all that wild falling down **** didn't start with the Froch fight. He did the same thing against Hanshaw. If he fights like that against Arthur, he'll get knocked out.

Before the Taylor fight I would have said:

Abraham by KO OR Direll on points

    but...

Abraham was ahead on the scorecards against Taylor, something NOBODY on ESB had predicted so Abraham might even outpoint Direll. :D

Dirrell is a very live underdog in this fight.

I think that Abraham will win. Probably another close debateable (less contraversial) decision.

dirrell would need to actually be prepared to fight if they fought again, he made what should of been a good fight one of the worst i've seen, with his holding and running. and if he was prepared to engage more, froch would have more of a chance of ko'ing him next time.

as far as nottingham being a shithole backwater city, have you actually been there? what shithole backwater city do you come from?

I'd like to see if Dirrell has the brains to match his physical gifts.

If Dirrell learns from the mistakes he made in the Froch fight (that is to say, learns the difference between executing a strategy of being both elusive and effective rather falling over, holding and running,) which I think he may very well do, then I think Dirrell will blow the S6 wide open with a decision.

I think Abraham's tight defence will mean that Dirrell will have to pick his punches carefully but his greater reach and speed will allow him to do just that. Froch roughed Dirrell up and threw his off his game plan, imposing his will on Dirrell. With the experience of that under his belt, if Dirrell can learn from that then he will be making Abraham fight his fight and decision him.
