Hi. I'm looking to get a career set of either Morales or Barrera and don't know which one to get. I already have the Pacquiao fights with both so aside from those and their trilogy, who had the better fights? thanks

    I'd say Morales.

Every one of his fights (with the exception of Raheem) was exciting. I have his career set and his fights with Zaragoza, Ayala, Chi and many others are all tremendous.

Yeah. Marco, particularly early in his career, was a very exciting fighter also. His fight with McKinney is worth the price of his career set alone.

The main difference between the two is that while MAB changed his style to become more of a boxer, Eric was a warrior from beginning to end. He could have extended his career for another few years if he followed Marco's example but he just couldn't resist going to war.

A few of Barrera's later fights were pretty boring and you just can't say that about Morales.

Nothing really between both guys talent wise but over 90% of Morales fights were very entertaining... Barrera had a lot of great fights too but Morales for my money was the most entertaining boxer of the last 15 years.

Ps. steer clear of Morales-Raheem.... it was his most boring fight, he was finished by then tho.

    :good

If you appreciate artistry, get the Barrera set. If you appreciate the warrior mentality, get the Morales set. If you love Boxing, get both.

Get both, but if you have to choose one, probably Morales is my preference.

Both guys are high level artists & both guys are warriors.

Morales had more exciting fights tho.... but all in all, you cant go wrong with either guy.... 2 of the best of their era p4p.

Barrera was shown to be more efficient on a more consistent basis than Morales, whereas Morales was more often than Barrera showed to be your typical Mexican warrior.

i hav both and was actually watching morales one earlier today.

its by far the best career dvd i hav atleast 90% of the fights are wars. barrera trilogy, pac trilogy, zaragosa, chi, ayala, McCullough, jones, kelley, and so on

check out www.boxingvideos.net the careers sets are the best you'll find 40 morales fights and 51 barrera fights fairly cheap too
