Alot of you say that Pac's style is tailor made for Floyd. I'd like to know what style you think is the perfect antidote to beat Floyd.

For me, I think a style like Forrest, Winky or Quartey would be perfect. Patient boxers with great jabs, big reach and a good sense of distance.

AAron Pryor style will give him problems..someone who throws 100 power punches per round and walks thru punches.

Durans style will kill Floyd, someone whos relentless but a better overall technical fighter than Floyd. Floyd might have a hard time hitting Duran

i agree with forrest (rip) but all time, other than robinson, the style to beat mayweather is hearns. long jab, great power, combination punching inside and outside, to the head and body, able to switch from boxer to puncher in a moments notice. mostly the ring generalship to keep floyd on the outside and neutralize his defense (as he did against benetiz)

Duran an overrall technical fighter then Floyd? Please.

I agree with Philla, a patient fighter with a solid jab. Forrest or Quartey in their primes would be difficult matchups for Floyd. Or someone like Sugar Ray Leonard who could match his speed.

You're a clown. Floyd is better defensively, more versatile, can basically engage in every style in the book. You think Duran could stick and move off the back foot. Please.

I bet you never even seen a Duran fight. Duran was a great athlete, tough and strong, but Floyd is far better technically.

Of course. Durans second to jesus around here. But in real life, to people who dont gargle the white, Floyd is far better technically. Sorry.

:goodperfect list iron fist. even putting tommy ahead of robinson makes sense. i see mayweather giving robinson a tough fight ala gavilan but tommy turns pure boxer and dominates him. a prime mosley at 135 would ****ing hurt floyd in a way the others may not. good stuff

I don't think his style is tailor made for Mayweather. Pacquiao is NOT one-dimensional, many people here are stuck in the past, he's NOT one-dimensional anymore and can adapt when he needs to. Pac used to fight one way before, now he can fight defensive and aggressive all depends on what situation he's put in which is why he's ATG stuff. Mayweather can also fight defensive or aggressive but NOT as affective aggressively as he used to be. Pac carried power at this weight, Mayweather didn't.

This is a 50/50 fight based on styles and everything. In the ring it could end up being 100/0 for someone, you never know.

:happy:happy:happyscar!!! that's what i'm talking about! that was a thoroughly objective and intelligent analysis. it could be a 50/50 with the current pac-man and it depends who makes who fight to their style. not many floyd fans could make a post like that
