VIDEO: Wladimir "Tired" Of Haye. Haye "not serious enough"

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by BoxingDomain, Nov 25, 2009.

  1. Haye just can't f*cking win.

On the one hand, he doesn't deserve to fight the Klitschko's as he's only fought at heavyweight 3 times.

On the other hand, fighting Ruiz and Chagaev makes him a chump because he isn't stepping up and fighting the Klitschko's.

    Bonkers.

Exactly. Haye went after this belt so he could make money with his own promotional company. That's fine, I guess. But it does demonstate to me a lack of any real ambition to be the best. Haye has already stated that he wants to retire by 30. He's 29 now. To me that means he just wants to make a little money before he cashes it. I seriously doubt that he will ever fight a Klitschko. :blood

It's hard to tell whose to blame for the failure to have a haye/klt fight thus far, but one thing i'm sure of is that haye v ruiz, chagaev, or meehan will be bad fights. all ruiz fights except the tua fight suck (especially w/o norman stone to provide entertainment). Chagaev has recently looked like well....someone battling hepatitis (which he is) and is not a legit top contender (yes i know there are few) anymore if he ever was. Meehan at his best was a journeyman/fringe fringe contender and who knows what he is at age 40.

I don't think he's a chump because he doesn't want to fight a Klitschko right now. I think he's a chump becasue he lies about it, fakes injuries and uses terms like "slave contract" to cover his ass. If he were just honest and admitted that he wanted to gain some experience at heavyweight first before he challenged the best then nobody could hold that over him.

I disagree, he will fight a Klitschko, my guess is Wladimir. People can moan all they want about Haye and I agree he's done some things poorly but he's never taken an easy ride, he's gone to peoples back yard to prove himself. Just because he said a while ago he'll retire by 30 doesn't mean he actually will, I think he said that thinking he would fight the Klit's but the Setanta money fell through.

His ambition is to be heavyweight champ, no way he's retiring without giving that a shot.

Yes, it is a 3-fight deal. But the Valuev rematch is not speculation. Valuev has the right to a guaranteed rematch. It is up to him to claim it. If he choose not to then Haye gets to fight another Don King man. But really, when was the last time a former title holder passed up a chance at a rematch clause? Has it ever happened?

Financially, it was the right decision, as a KO loss to Wladimir and then Vitali would have meant his HW career is done, without a big pay. With Valuevs title, he gets the title holder share (which should not be that much given Kings "ideas" of how much to pay his "champions") at least.

However, he cannot claim "greatness" at the same time, and how the Klitschkos "refused" to fight Valuev. Valuev didn't answer the phone when Wlad was calling for a replacement of Hoi, and his negotiations with Vitali probably contained the same 500 options for King as High gave away. Both Klitschkos signed a deal to fight him many times, and he bitched out of them every time. For understandable financial reasons, but HE bitched out of a contract the Klitschkos had already signed.

    Haye wants money nothing else.

His fight against Valuev was safty more than safty. And know he wants to fight a Klitschko because of the big money.

Without Sauerland and Don King Haye would have never won the fight against Valuev. Holyfield makes a much better fight but he did not get the win. Haye get it because of Kind and Sauerland.

Haye wants money..no ****?! Who doesn't want money in this game. The Klitschko's are pretty keen on keeping most of the money thats for sure.

It means ****, Haye has ambition in the sport too. He didn't have to fight Valuev in his second fight at heavyweight, he could have been content to fight contenders for easy pay days back at home.

Wlad fights his way back to the top. He fights not only talking.

The Klitschkos does not need David Haye.

Haye should fight Ruiz and than the winner Chagaev/Meehan to show how good he realy is.
