He hasn't actually KO'd anyone though and hasn't shown anything to support his mouth. Shambolic was perhaps harsh but he hasn't set the world alight with his performances.

 

I love boxers that divide opinion by being outspoken, its good for the sport and creates interest. HOWEVER...

When making your statements they have to be realistic, otherwise you just come off looking like a bit of an idiot and Fury having had only a handfull of fights calling out David Haye is a joke!

Actually Tyson Fury's big mouth and gift of the gab is to me his most endearing quality. He sure as hell cant box at all.
But he's got a certain charm about him, I didn't like it at first, but he's like a used car salesman or a cowboy builder who might rip you off but you'd still go for a pint with him.

Anyway, everyone coming out with this "who does he think he is saying he can beat Haye" were probably quick to lap up all Haye's boasts about what he was going to do to the Klitschkos, even before Haye beat Monte friggin' Barrett.

I think Fury sucks as a fighter, but let him have his say.
Let Haye talk too, but none of that stuff he was saying about "hairy ugly Valuev" was particularly clever either, truth be told. Haye's talked himself into dickhead-land long before Fury has.

 

Haye made sure he had achieved something before he went into trash-talk overdrive. He wasn't that disrepectful before the Mormeck/Enzo Mac fights.

 

Agreed, doesn't necessarily excuse lack of respect but atleast his is in context, he's disrespecting men he is actually going to be fighting...Fury is way out of his depth with what he says.

 

Well, the only heavyweight he'd beaten was Tomasz Bonin, so not much cause for him to talk himself into beating the best heavyweights in the world.
Maybe the gulf between what Fury has done and what he's saying is even bigger, but it's the same principle.

With Haye it's all about getting under his opponents skin and is often said tongue in cheek.

Fury has no right whatsoever to talk about Haye, he's not even fit to lace his boots, he'd probably twat himself in the eye with the lace he's so uncoordinated

 

Big difference IMHO between the Cruiserweight champion talking **** about the champs the next weight up and a what Fury is doing. The gulf is class is so large that him an Haye are barely practising this same sport at the moment.

I guess he's just trying to keep his name in the papers but he gets far to many column inches because of that 'cool' name though.
