With both men at their best who would win this fight?

Hagler wins a decision in what I think would be a bloodbath.

One of the greatest fights that could be made at mw. I think prime LaMotte would trouble Hagler bigtime. Hagler wouldn´t box Jake he would fight him and neither fighter will get KOed. 15 rounds of Hagler-Hearns I suppose with both fighters ruined at the end. Both are capable of winning this but Hagler should be the favourite.

I'll say Hagler by easy UD. However, I believe a peak form Hagler could KO LaMotta late.

LaMotta was the one I'd like to see Hagler with. If you stood up to him for 15 rds. you knew you were in a fight. Yes, Jake took the heart out of fighters where the was just an ounce of weakness. La Motta in 10 w/ a savage tko.:rasta

Hagler in a pretty 1 sided UD, maybe late TKO

    Hagler.

LaMotta shouldn't even be mentioned in the classic forum, he is even worse than Mikkel Kessler.

Hagler would likely find LaMotta awkward and I'm not so sure if he would go to war with LaMotta. He would probably try to box Jake as he usually did when he wasn't getting the better of the infight.

Hagler by close decision,Jake would give him a real war,I cant forget Hagler against Antuofermo, and Duran. Jake was stronger than both and more durable, he would keep coming , eating that right lead but getting in short hooks to the body, this would be no easy night for the Marvellous One.

Hagler by decision or late round stoppage in one helluva fight. LaMotta would give Marvin all he could handle early on but Hagler's superior all around boxing skills would start to wear LaMotta down by the middle rounds and from there Marvin builds up the points to either a points win or possible (though not likely) late round TKO.
