For some reason....I find it hard to believe getting your ear drum broken can be considered an easy fight

Don't be ******ed. Pac lost fights, Ali SHOULD have lost to Norton, MAB couldn't solve Jr. Jones - fighters have off-nights, they run into bad styles for them. It's tards like you who think the only quality of greatness is going undefeated that makes fighters reluctant to take ANY tough fights for less than retirement money a la Floyd Mayweather.

It was a combination of KT's age and the fact that Hatton was allowed to hit, hold, headbutt, maul and wrestle all night that beat KT, not his punching. Pryor is the most overrated cheating sack of **** in the world. Taylor had speed and speed ONLY, and KT was excellent at handling speed. Just ask Zab Judah. Pac, I'll call it a toss up. Pac is awesome but he does get hit, and KT hits a whole ****load harder than Cotto and has a better defense. It's a fight I would have paid a lot to see. Benitez couldn't hurt KT, and KT is a fantastic and underrated technical boxer, one of the greatest amateurs of all time. I think he would figure Benitez out well enough to at least earn a majority decision.

Yeah right ... Cotto is no where near DLH ... and he's not as diverse as Corrales, Castillo, Gatti, G. Hernandez, and Marquez.

Cotto has proven that he get discouraged if he can't hurt you and he only has one effective hand/arm/punch.

He doesn't respond well to adversity and he can't handle a good boxer.

For those reasons there are plenty of Mayweather opponents that are better than him. The records might not show but what they did throughout there career shows.

Everyone in the boxing world knows that Floyd would pick him apart way worse than Pacquiao or Margarito and that he would receive a worse psychological defeat than physical.

Floyd would take away that jab and left hook ... and reduce Cotto to a desperate aggressive fighter and take him out late.

Cotto doesn't have a better chin that the fighters that Mayweather has faced.

cotto is no better than corales or castillo p4p,
the thing that impress me is the fact that pac is a midget and he destroyed cotto

cotto is no Barrera, Morale or Marquez

Gatti throughout his career was stereotyped because of the wars he had been in ... the fact is - is that Gatti had power in both hands, he could box, and he had a good chin.

Hmmmmmmmm....not better than Cotto nope...don't even try that one on people that still have active brain cells.

I love Gatti he was raised in my town and all, but he ain't close to be on Cotto's level...

I know it's really hard sometimes to keep things with a broad perspective...one day an athlete's a hero and if he loses he's on his way to be seen as a zero...

Fact is it don't work that way..

True natural skills is one thing. Results in fights is another story.

JMM IS a better overall boxer than anyone else that Pacquiao or Mayweather faced, except the prime version of DLH of course..

BUT... JMM fighting Floyd at welterweight is the equivalent of asking little Barry Sanders the former running back, to run with a pair of shoes, size 16...not really fair if you want him to display all his true skills.

i'm not talking about the 147 Marquez, that guy is nothing compared to 126,130 Marquez.

but how the **** can people say he's overrated and then claim cotto is underrated, :lol:wtf.
