It's no brainer that Morales would have kissed the canvass if they fought years ago. JMM hitting the canvass is somewhat like a tradition! :rofl

yeah i like el terrible's style and the urban legend that he was born in a boxing gym seemed to enhance his character for me;-)

They are all in my top 10 fav fighters of all time. Morales is probably my favourite of the 'quartet' some of you speak of.

In the mainstream, probably, but Marquez was already a better fighter than Naseem Hamed was he just didn't get his big break. Marco Antonio Barrera established himself as the best Featherweight of the decade with wins over Erik Morales and Naseem Hamed, both unbeaten P4P rated opposition at the time. Pacquiao closed well, but he didn't get enough work done to be considered the best Featherweight...that was Marco all the way. I don't consider it like the fab four of the 80s, Morales and Barrera were Hall of famers before anyone even heard of Manny.

To be fair, lets put it this way

    1. Pac
    2. Barrera and Morales
    3. Marquez

IMO their standing as ATGs are still close, with pac edging em a bit.

Well if you want to be technical about it, MAB was fighting several years before any of them got started, including Hamed. What I'm talking about however, are the recent glory years of the FW division. Hamed brought the attention, MAB and EM moved up and took the glory, and Pac was the new young buck that finally pushed the aging superstars to the sidelines.

There is only one god and Morales is his prophet. Morales would make his opponents fathers wake up in the middle of the night with a cold sweat asking themselves what went wrong.

He aint in Morales class, dont even go there.

Morales worst performanmce of his prime yrs was in that 1st fight & I still scored a draw - Erik supposedly had a liver problem - the rematch seen Espadas take a 10 count via right hand to back of the ear.
    Game set & MATCH !
