Ward. Froch is too slow and doesn't know how to box.

It's closer than some might want to admit.

Froch fights much better in a clinch than Kessler has shown.

I find this little bit kind of interesting. When Froch fought Dirrell and when Dirrell would clinch Froch gave him a beating for doing it. Dirrell would clinch and then position his head so that the back of his head would be absorbing hooks that Froch would throw. No rabbitting punching like too many were making it seem.

Ward gets in a clinch and does some dirty fighting and those exact same fans are now justifying Ward's tactics and referencing his great 'dirty boxing skill'.

Back to the fight: Froch fights better in a clinch and Froch fights better with people who don't want to play his game (relative again to what we saw in Kessler v Ward).

I've always thought that Dirrell is the much harder fighter to land clean on (when comparisons of Dirrell and Ward surface). And he is. He's much more elusive.... but Froch found him. Whether you think Dirrell won or lost, Froch was able to find him. Ward will be easier than Dirrell for Froch to find.... and he will find him too.

Ward wants to see rough/dirty/crafty fighting.... he doesn't have to look much further than Froch.

I agree with Froch being too slow, but he can box good enough to beat Kessler, which he will.

I think Ward would take it. My logic is that Ward is every bit as fast and slick as Dirrell but with more power. If I'm no mistaken, Dirrell had Froch hurt on a couple of occasions. Hard to see how Ward would not be able to handle this guy.

    I didn't say Ward wouldn't beat him.

And actually I think Dirrell is better than Ward from an athletic standpoint, and has more power, but he just isn't as good a fighter as Ward is.

But yeah, I think Ward has the tools to take this fight and that he would win by decision.

It would be an easier fight for Froch because Ward likes to fight he wasn't running like Dirrell so Froch would get his shots in as well. Inside fighting would be great and it would be the key. Both fighters fight very well on the inside. I think it would be closer than what the experts say.

I think Ward would beat him handily........hard to stop him, but a lopsided decsion.

Croch was barely able to come away with what many refer to as a gift decision against somebody that ran away from him, there is no way he could do anything with ward IF ward doesnt get sloppy like he was able to get away with doing when he went up against kessler.

Ward by late stoppage, maybe 11th or 12th rnd,Froch has no defense he blocks punches with his chin, and very slow..I see the ref stopping the fight late because Froch will be taking too much punishment

Ward would humiliate Froch worse than he humiliated Kessler. And if it were fought in Nottingham Froch would still get the SD.

One thing I DO know is that Ward was lined up to fight the winner of Froch-Taylor, but Froch opted to go on vacation instead. Froch is a smart guy.
