Berrio has an underrated chin and skills. People easily forget that he outboxed and dominated 175lbs contender Yusaf Mack. He walked through every Mack threw at him without flinching. He was stopped by Bute and Stieglitz but was never knock down. The Stieglitz stoppage was a bull**** call. He was out on his feet against Bute tho. One thing for sure. A Miranda-Berrio fight would be a candidate for FOTY.

As I recall in the first Stieglitz-Berrio fight (correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a while). The round started. The two fighters exchanged punches. Stieglitz caught Berrio with a straight right hand that hurt him. Berrio didn't go down but he was wobbled. The ref stepped in and give him a standing 8 count. Berrio seemed perfectly fine and ready to continue but for some unknown reason the ref stopped the fight.
Someone would get knocked out! Not sure who though. I suspect Berrio's boxing skills are a tad better than Miranda's, and I have no doubt that he has more power, but he also has the weaker chin. Damn shame that Berrio hasn't done squat since the Bute fight. He could probably still be top 10 in a strong SMW division.

Its a shame Berrio has gone a bit AWOL since the Bute fight...he was very, very good value. Love to see this one whilst both have a little left in the tank...with the winner to scrap it out with Bika.
