For every boxing fan in the world to take Amir serioulsy he needs to demolish Prescott , and he nees to do it soon , he cant go on match making in the fashion he has without getting back in the ring with Prescott .

Its like he's saying to the rest of the boxing world , " im gonna fight him and im gonna do this and that but there is one guy out there who i cant beat " , i say this a big Khan fan , and i beleive he blitzes Prescott ATM , but it has to happen soon .

However alot depends on how well Breidis does on the upcoming undercard fight with Kevin Mitchell , as Khan is clearly getting the winner should he beat Salita , but if Prescot loses this fight i still beleive Amir has to fight him again down the road !!!!!!

Sorry, but whilst Khan has a bone china chin, he will not face a puncher.

People believe Khan has been reborn under roach - but as soon as anyone with half a dig connects, Khan will be on ***** street yet again.

The man just cant take a shot.

    PERIOD.

This is not something that can be argue'd , but he has moved up in weight and looks a very very natural 140 lb'er , infact its hard to imagine him @LW now , he got tagged against Kotelnik and took the shots well , in the circles he's now in he will have to face punchers thats the end of it !!!!!

Of course he doesn't need to 'destroy' Prescott.

Plenty of fighters have had defeats that they've put behind them to go onto bigger things.

Pacquiao didn't need to 'destroy' Torrecampo or Singsurat for boxing fans to take him seriously.

Khan just needs to do what he is doing, which is to get on with his career and keep on improving. Whether a rematch with Prescott takes place somewhere down the line depends more on what Prescott does than what Khan does. If Prescott loses to Mitchell, for example, then there wouldn't be much chance, or much credibility in it.

If Khan has a couple of impressive performances, the Prescott debacle will soon be forgotten. Khan has moved ahead since, and Prescott has lost. As
Prescotts significance dwidles and Khans grows , the need for a rematch fades away.

Lets just wait and see how Prescott gets on in his next couple of fights.

No need to be re-visiting that scenario for the time being.

For what it's worth......I think Khan UD's him easy if they meet again.

Khan's defeat to Prescott was much more public than any of Pacquiao's, thus he does need to beat Prescott. We've seen how fickle some fans can be and if Khan doesnt rematch him and win they will just think he is backing out of it. I think now is the time, Khan made Prescott look very good in the first fight by leaving his chin there to be hit and trying to engage openly. If he boxes, keeps his guard high, i can see Khan winning a wide ud.

It depends on how Prescott does in his next few fights. What if he lost to Mitchell, that would 2 deafets in a row and there wuldn't be much point in Khan fighting him.

I've watched Amir's fights and I'm not convinced he can beat Prescott yet.It is possible Prescott can end Amir's career.

I don't think Khan will ever rematch Prescott, especially if Prescott takes out the durable Kevin Mitchell.

I believe that following this fight Khan has to fight interim champ Marcos Maidana, which ain't going to happen. Maidana hits far too hard and is far too good for Warren to allow him to share a ring with his latest cash cow.

This being the case, look for Khan to vacate should he get past Salita.

I'm not a big fan of khan whatsoever, but I will say this. People give him an awful lot of stick because of his attitude outside the ring, so much that they let this disliking of him cloud their judgment of him as a boxer. ANYONE who was caught by that Prescott punch would have been KO'd. At the time, prescott was undefeated in 21 fights I think, 18 ko's, all of which coming inside 3 rounds. Surely that speaks volumes as to the punch power he posesses, Khan took a flush punch and got KO'd.

Another thing, I absolutely guarantee you that that loss will make Khan a better fighter. he doesn't need a rematch with Prescott at all, he needs to keep on doing exactly what hes doing. Fair play to Khan, he's doing well.

But the difference is that khan was beaten in the grand stage where so many people are watching. Besides the fact that khan was so arrogant before that KO.
