Roy Jones Jr. is easily in the top 20 or 10 all time. There will probably never be another fighter THAT talented.
It's great to see all those cab drivers, firemen and plumbers fall with 1 shot that does not even look hard. Jones is now beginning to get the "benefit" of being part of the previous era. Highlight clips like these that only show the 2-3 seconds spurts of his best moments in each fights definitely makes him look like the GOAT. Fact is that, except for few of his fights, Jones is often booed for the most part of his fights. He is simply too boring, waits too long and just simply can not finish a visibly hurt opponent.
He has such great offense, not just because of his speed, but he knows his craft. He never had to defend much with those reflexes, prob what hurt him as he got older. One of the greatest boxers to this day, he's the real SOG
Yep, too bad he didn't use that considerable talent against better opposition. I suppose the lack of great comp. is not really his fault, with the exception of the mutual ducking, he and DM did to each other. Still, be it his fault or not, the lack of great oposition on your resume should automatically disqulify you from being considered a goat. Thesame standard applies to fighters like Klitschkos. Anyways the video showcases his skills (and his ego) nicely.
