You think Corrales vs Castillo was badly overrated or that it is not as big as Morales vs Barrera? It is surely up there. Has anyone put up a poll to see how everyone feels about it?

Trinidad only fought for 2 or 3 years this decade plus he had only did good in 2000. I wouldn't even put him in the top 20 for this decade. He is top 10 for the 90's, maybe 7, 8, 9 or so.

Going by what I see in their attributes & skills, its clear to me that Mayweather is the more talented fighter, Pac however is a freak physically & has the greater achievements.
Pac at this time is the `greater` but IMO FMJ is the `better` fighter.

Of course if Pac beats him in the h2h (he might do, he is a brilliant fighter himself these days), I will retract that statement, admit I underestimated Manny & place him on my top 10 ATG fighters list, seriously.

Morales-Barrera I was more exciting than Arguello-Pryor I for me, AA-Pryor does make my top 10 fights tho.

Barrera-Morales I was the best fight of the decade. Two hall of famers in their prime at their best.

Castillo-Corrales was a classic 2 but they are not the same caliber as Barrera and Morales. Both very good, but not hall of fame material. Ward-Gatti I was great too...but come on. Micky Ward was a slightly above average fighter. Ward is a Good guy, but limited..Gatti (i loved to watch the guy) was step above Ward, but he lost to Ivan Robinson for godsakes. TWICE

There is a reason why people talk about Ali-Frazier I and III. They were not only a great fights, but it is also a great fights between great fighters. That has to count for something.

Why do so many posters here spell Erik Morales name wrong & get all the others correct ? :huh

    (Its also Barrera, not Barerra)

Fight of the decade for me was Toney vs Jirov. Thought that Jirov remained competitive despite the absolute masterclass that toney put on that fight.

Same goes for Arguello-Pryor I. It was a fight between all time greats, that was a great fight.

I think one fight that gets underrated is Mosley-De La Hoya I. No knockdowns, but lots of ebbs and flows from 2 future hall of famers in their primes. Sometimes you don't need knockdowns for drama.

No no, I feel Gatti-Ward is overrated, rd 9 was amazing tho.

I really liked Corrales-Castillo I, I think it makes my top 10 but its not as good as Morales-Barrera I, not for me anyway.
The closest fight to EM-MAB I is Chacon v Boza Edwards II... what a brilliant fight, you must sit down with a beer one day & watch this thing with no interuptions, amazing.
