Pac. especially at 135, took punches clean waay too often. JMM hurt him a few times. Chavez rolled better with punches and kept his hands higher. Chavez was never even wobbled at 135 and faced bigger punchers. Chavez looked better in the 9th-12th round against Taylor than Manny did against JMM. There is NO WAY pac had better defene or stamina than Chavez at this weight.

147, Pacman wins a lopsided decision. at 135, he could keep it close, but would probably lose.

It is utterly ridiculous to compare Chavez to D. Diaz. that is complete boxing history ignorance.

    Cut and pasted responses.

When we have people comparing Julio Cesar Chavez to David Diaz, there's a huge injustice going on somewhere. I can only assume Boom_Boom hasn't watched a Chavez fight in his life when he's coming out with stupid crap like that. Chavez was far superior to Diaz, and can cut off the ring and close the distance as effectively as anyone. He was a fantastic compact puncher, he very rarely threw single shots. If can he can close the distance on Pacquiao, he has the advantage...and I feel he can close the distance. Pacquiao will be slowing down an awful lot after a few well placed liver shots...he was content to stand there with Cotto, if he does that with Chavez, he'll get broken down slowly.

...And I'm just curious, is there any particular reason why your keep swearing like an angry school girl?

Yeah blah blah blah compact puncher blah blah:lol: and the punch that sent cotto to a new dimension wasnt compact, again noob.. no one beats PAc in extended exchanges, MAnny Steward mentioned this and he is a PAc hater in the vein that you pathetically hate PAc fans (who btw predicts PAcs fights correctly, so theyre really bad)

But you know I should listen to you instead of Steward (who by the way made perfect sense if you heard his ANALYSIS as to why)

BY the way Im done with you but heres your favorite, a Youtube Clip of an expert Chavez fan

No kidding i agree with the post that said BoomBoom lost all credibility in comparing Cotto with Chavez. Now he has officially lost credibility with the Diaz comment. He is another one we will never hear from again after PAC retires. Reminds me of Co workers that I work with. I was telling the Pinoys I work with about Pac when he was at 122 and they had never heard of him, first time they saw him fight against Agapito they said he was alright they were not impressed (I knew he was SPecial). They were not even boxing fans, know these fans think they are Boxing experts and Manny fanatics. I get a kick out of reminding them that when they thought Manny wasnt that good and used to ask me questions about Boxing all the time. I wonder if Boom Boom is one of my Co-workers in disguise.

Pacquiao by late TKO. Too fast, slick and strong. Chavez has strength and his power is insane but he WON'T be landing enough. I expect the first few rounds to be competitive till Pac eventually starts to slice him to pieces and drop him late. Whitaker, a great mover, made him look like a journeyman.

Thats a horrible comparison. Cotto never had a chin to be the next Chavez to begin with.
