I've seen plenty of Chavez fights. Even when I wasn't into boxing as much He's a Mexican fighter and when I lived in Colombia I saw a lot of his fights in spanish channels, most weren't live though. But you know all about me right?

Why the hell are you even in this thread? You already admitted you're just here to bait people like a child. So why stick around? If you have nothing of value to say, just leave.

Yey maybe Dude! I hate to say it because its kind of like a "If my Aunt had balls shed be my Uncle" comment, but yey If he had a Chavez like Chin I could see the possibility, since he was doing pretty well before getting dropped. I dont want to go there and sound like im taking away from Manny s win but,you asked, and now I am more convinced that Chavez beats him, especially at 135:yep

JCC was JMM x 2. SO stupid to think Pac beating him is a given.

    :lol::lol::lol:

You obviously havent watched much of any JMM or JCC fights or both.

The styles are completely different from each other, JMM is a counter puncher, Chavez is a pressure fighter.

THIS IS FANTASY FIGHT RIGHT?! SO as EXPECTED PAC loses this one!
You are even free to imagine PAC will NOT last 30 seconds with Chavez after all you are free to imagine!

WHAT I'm interested is REAL POSSIBLE FIGHTS! Not Fanstasy fights:tired

Not at all. I made note of what Chavez is going to have to do to win the fight. He'll have to close the distance, he ain't going to win on the outside with Manny, who throws a lot of shots in flurries, and can only get the momentum by extending his arms. On the inside, Chavez with the shorter more compact punches will do better, and he'll have to bang to the body early to set up for the late rounds, where a more stationary Manny will be in line for 3-4's to body and head.

Manny will have to use movement. He can dart in and out as we've seen him do so many times before. Rattle of a 3-4 punch flurry and just as Chavez will be readying himself to return fire, hop out of range and compose himself for a new attack. If he stands in front of Chavez like he did against Cotto, there will be no posing...he'll be banging to body and head with frightening accuracy, and people at ringside will be hearing the thudding blows hitting Manny's ribs. Keep it on the outside, dart in and out to get off his own offense, and don't concern himself with a knockout...prime Chavez is almost unknockoutable.

I don't see anyone stopping a prime Chavez at Lightweight from closing the distance. If he wants to get inside he will, and he'll take a few coming in, but his subtle head movement will avoid any flush shots...or most of them, anyway. I've never seen Manny back off from a fire fight in my life, and there's nothing to suggest he'll be trying to keep on the outside. If he wants to test Cotto's power, why will he be so afraid of Chavez, who started at Super Featherweight? I just dont' see it, I think Manny gets outhussled.

What's funny is that they say Pac kd or ko's the iron chinned Chavez. It took Pac 22 rounds to finally dent Eriks chin. I rate Chavez chin better than Morales

I read it, and see where you are coming from.

Now lets say Chavez's power isnt having an effect on Manny as you say he does. Now its almost a guranteed this fight is going the distance, Chavez outboxes Pacman or what?

The guy was replying to me. So yeah...

My opinion on this fight? All I can say is, it would be competitive and not a demolition job.

As far as an actual analysis on this particular fight? It would be a generic one about each fighters strengths so I didn't post one. Pac is too different a fighter to anyone Chavez ever faced. I give him a good chance. Just citing Chavez's strengths doesn't mean he'll win, like some think. Manny is underrated a bit H2H against the ATGs in this forum.

I have the career sets of both, AND of Pacman, and I have watched them all many times. Anyone who knows me knows how big a MAB fan I am. JCC would have smashed MAB. And he would have smashed EM, and he would have smashed JMM.

I don't count Pac completely out of a fight against ANYONE below 154, but I would have him a 5-2 underdog against JCC at 135 and a 3-2 dog at 140. JCC v. Pea was at 145, a bloated JCC already involved with the drug cartels and drinking and partying WAY too much.

Just for good measure, here's a drunk JCC slapping people around trying to get to a reporter who said something he didn't like.
