I'm not the shithead that you think I am...if Green wins, I will be on this forum Dec.3, congratulating Green and Aussie. I'm not a sore loser. I give credit where credit's due.

Fair enough, i should have read the whole thread, my mistake. I took you for a knob. But anyway, i hope for a good fight, i don't expect green to outbox jones or anything silly like that, but i think he may have the pressure or power to just tickle him up a bit, and interesting to see how jones handles it. Jones would be used to the crowd being on his side most of the time, and it will be a different story this time with all the aussies behind green. The crowd atmosphere and support can make a difference in any sport, so it might help out danny somewhat. Cheers to the best man winning, hope ya enjoy the fight mate :)

I enjoy every Jones fight whether he wins or loses, I'm a die-hard fan. I don't stop watching a fighter that I like just because he's been KO'd twice or because he's 40 years old! I like who I like and I wish Green the best of luck!

Just finished watching some of Roys more recent fights and I should really be giving Danny more of a chance than I have been.

Roy is a shell of his former self. Danny is in with a good chance to win via cards imo. Greens toughness will take him to the end and if he can force the pace and push Roy onto the ropes he will have a great chance at winning rds.

If Roy refuses to go to the ropes he will school Green.

Some promotional genius might see the actual ring size reduced.. ala Hoppa vs Mirovic 1HD this year... Unless stipulated in the contract already, Green might find benefit...?

No idea... being a World title bout in a higher weight class, there's probably size regulations being enforced..

I'd expect part of the deal with RJJ coming over is the size of the ring will be of his chosing.

Androstenedione, the banned substance found in both RJJ and his opponent Richard Hall's "A sample", does not have the same affect on users as anabolic steroids. In fact there is no evidence to suggest that it has any benefits to atheletes by way of strength, endurance, recovery, etc.

Androstenedione, along with other suspect chemicals, was found in many health and body builder powders sold over the counter before being banned in 2004. One of those used by Jones prior to the bout in 2000 was "Ripped Fuel" which contained very small amounts of the substance. Anyone within the USA that trained back in the day and used powders as part of their dietary supplement would probably have come in contact with it.

The crazy thing about the banning of androstenedione is that it has no proven benefits while other legal substances such as liquid creatine will provide users with a definite advantage second only to illegal steroids.

While the facts above are easily accessed there are still those out there who want to use RJJ's positive sample as a tool to tarnish his magnificent accomplishments. The truth is that Roy Jones Jr never tested positive to anything that remotely comes close to "performance enhancing" and to suggest otherwise is nothing more than misinformation.
