^ Had these shoes for almost a year, and I think it's time for a new pair xD. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good pair of boxing shoes/boots.

For your shoes, I see a few asics wrestling/boxing shoes around my gym. You might wanna take a look at those.

Also depends on your price range, but some of those Asics aren't expensive at all.

The pair above are asics, they HAD great grip xD. but the problem with wrestling shoes is that the rubber wears down too fast since they are meant to be used on a matt, not a canvas

I've always had Nike low pros. I have two pairs and one pair of them are about 4 years old and I still wear them a couple times a week. (I alternate pairs) They're still held together, still have good grip and ankle stability. Thats my preference though. I know a couple guys who prefer oasics and a sparring buddy of mine loves his Jordans. Shoes are like gloves and head gear, everyone going to have a preference.

I'm glad you told me, because I was actually looking at those. I was thinking of getting the adidas bosshog, or rival boxing boots. What do you think?

I wouldn't reccomend the asics, they held up great when I wrestled, but as for boxing shoes they wear out too fast. Stick to BOXING shoes and not wrestling shoes.

I have the old RJJ Jordan's. They are kind of pricey but they will last FOREVER. I've had mine going on two years training all the time.

I have the machomais and love them. I had adidas before and had the same toe wear out but got a couple of years out of them. I`ve been wearing the machomais a lot lately and so far so good and I love them in the ring. They are a bit narrow tho if you have a semi-wide foot. Was told this before I ordered them so unless you have a narrow foot order one size larger. I did this and they fit perfect.

Not really, sorry. Not even sure what model mine were (adidas). They look quite similar to the box hog ones, as just looking at them now on title, but they were white. I think they cost over $100 but not sure, got em as a gift so who knows.
