I think he's wearing stage make-up there. Great vid's. Really cool to see McAuliffe v Dempsey, some crafty little moves there, esepecially for a 50 yr. old.
And seemingly harmless looking. Then you remember he fought 110 documented fights in practically every weight division and also fought in the most gruesome war of the century earning the Croix de Guerre. Not a candy-ass.
Carpientier was rel graceful in that ring, i like his little waltz he did to get off the ropes in many of his fights but he could fight aswell his war with Siki is one of my favrouite fights ever
