Give it up for Haye. Tactical brilliance. He went to Germany slayed the giant and gained a portion of the heavyweight title. Thus he has put himself in a much stronger bargaining position. Next he`ll KO Ruiz a strong seasoned well known heavy and then it`s the Klitschkos. He`s done a real psych job on this pair,as well as many US fans who`ll happily part with their $$$ for PPV hoping,in vain, that Haye will get KO`d! He`ll KO Wlad K first thus infuriating Vitali and then KO him to become undisputed champ. I guarantee he has it all mapped out. DH is one smart cookie.
Your post is silly but there is a little truth there. If you compare his path to Arreolas for example there is no doubt that he played the risk vs reward game better. The longer one delays a showdown with one of the Klitschkos, the longer the question remains unanswered: can they beat one of the Klitshkos. Heck, if you wait long enough they will be over the hill.
Haye has done a hell of a job getting media coverage, and thus creating more interest in him as a heavyweight. He is now the name that comes up the most, and even after the most boring fight in the world with Valuev. He represents the biggest payday for the Klit bros., not bad.
LOL tactical brilliance? Ya it took a real genius to figure out he shouldn't stand toe-to-toe with the guy.
I've always wondered. How exactly do you guys manage to suck on Haye's balls when he hasn't even got a pair?
eh the fact hes a 2 weight world champ in under 24 fights! fighting away from home frequently.. and has a near perfect ko record. :good
