    Great Card of fights Shannan i think should retire and Les looked great with the aging Shannan very stationery ! Jamie Myer has done a great job wth Les it was the perfect fight at the right time but 5 years ago would have been a different story with Taylor being a bit more hungery!

    glad you saw my point. I don't think bagging anyone is a great thing but by the same token, we have to be accountable for what we do and if we step on our cocks then we should be able to wear it, learn from it and move on. Bagging for bagging's sake - I'll leave that to others! ;)

    Anyone who describes a fighter as "Eerily reminiscent of Rocky Marciano except he got stopped" should probably keep his mouth shut.... :deal

    just watched the replay ! I might be a bit critical but i think refs should do there job and let fighters do theres instead of thinking they are the main attraction i also think a couple of stopages were not warranted ! This is boxing not marbles . What do you guys think

    don't try and talk your way out of it Josef. If steady Eddie wears a suit worth more than your car, that's an even bigger indictment on the worthlessness of your existence wouldn't you say?

    Phil what happen to poor old Fitzpatrick with Les's Tape and Shannan and jamie never got hit fush they were all on the gloves ?
    First thing which i agree is safety of boxers from themselves but come on these guys want to be prize fighters not ping pong players give em a go ! the thousands in attandence are not there to watch you referee!

    I feel Phil refereed the Sherrington vs Taylor fight as good as he could have.:good
    Taylor throws not just punches but elbows & heads many times a round.
    Phil took control & stopped the fight rightfully when Taylor was very hurt & getting battered to a bloody pulp.

    Well if Phil let it go on any longer he would have been battered really badly & possibly never fight again...then again i think he should retire anyways.:good

    Taylor was finished throwing no punches back for a good 15 plus seconds & against a heavy handed fighter like Sherrington there was no need for the fight to go on.
    Phil told Taylor to show him something & quite frankly he didnt.
    Taylors face swelled real badly post fight as well so i cant see much complaints.
