    Its nothing that many of us hasnt been saying for years now about Kesslers comp. With that being said Kessler dominated all those guys, ans showed that he was a level or two better then all those fighters except Calzaghe. Kessler's power is way over rated but he is a good fighter just not the great fighter that some was pushing him to be.

    Of course you can diminish almost any record by this kind of evaluation. By this logic Ward is still unproven, he has beaten two bums in Miranda and Kessler.

    That would be a good point if the topic of the thread wasnt about his level of comp...Something that many has been tring to sell as almost ATG level.

    However overrating a fighters comp leads to overrating the fighter himself. If you look objectively at Kesslers resume it leads one to think that he is a good but not great fighter, he beat some good fighters but hasnt done anything special. The difference between Kessler and Ward is that Ward dominated the guy that was seen as the top fighter at his weight and Kessler lost to Calzaghe who was seen as the top man at the weight at the time. What Ward did would be like Kessler getting the win over Calzaghe, at which point guys like you would have wanted to insert him into the p4p top 5.

    Please tell me that your European biased will allow you to see the point.:deal
