****Deontay Wilder Scores First Round KO after Three Month Layoff****

He is an exciting prospect. I have not been much impressed with anything but his power. He needs a whole slew of fights before I get excited. He also needs to work on his technique as he is awfully raw.

The guy is big and in shape though, plus he has power! Certainly am hopeful for him

 

He would demolish Fields, Fury, Monk Foreman, and Tor Hamer right now.

Awesome. And the guy he fought this time didn't even have a losing record.

I've been excited and am now even more excited about this guy. He's gonna be the one to bring the heavyweight crown back to the U.S.

Tor Hamer is one of the greatest names in boxing history.

 

Honestly, I'd rather see them both fight up through the ranks and meet each other when they reach the top 20 or 15, that way they're both developed enough to have a good fight, and we'll really know who the better one is, though at this point, I have to say, I think Wilder would clean up on Hamer.

 

Maybe ruiz or johnson will beat him to it:nut

 

Hamer fights out of my gym sometimes, and let me say...Wilder ain't ready for him.

One to watch for the future for sure

 

He's a real good prospect and America's best hope for the future. Throws a beautiful right cross down the pipe, tall, great athlete (former basketball star), stays in shape...everything you could want except an extra 20 pounds of muscle.

However, he's not going to get better fighting the bums that he has. They take one punch and pretty much take a dive and collect a check. What's he going to learn being in the ring for a single minute every month or so? They should at least find some durable bums for him to beat up on.
