    Tito Trinidad.

It amazes me how overrated Mosley has become for beating Margarito though that was a fantastic win, but if Tito would have fought Margarito, people would have said that Tito only beat a crude slugger, kind of like when Tito fought and beat a 56-0 Yory Boy Campas.

    What are you laughing at?

Aren't you the same one who defended Margarito when his hand wrapping controversy came about?......But now your going to try to accuse Tito. Typical contradictions from Mexican boxing fans. Even Nazim said Tito hand wrapping was just a minor abrasion against the rules while he said Margo was trying to bring a "second man" to the ring with his plaster.

I'm a Trinidad/PR fighter's fan besides the fact that I am of Mexican decent. (It happens)

Next, I was laughing at dudes comment because he said....
"I will give him the benefit of the doubt as there is no evidence, only speculation.
    "
Just seems like a contradiction, that's all.

Trinidad would have beaten Margarito too I agree with you. But Shane Mosley started his career as a lightweight and he destroyed a full fledged Welterweight in Margarito. The only middleweight Tito(which would be akin to what Mosley did against Margarito) did the same was against William Joppy, and Margarito(hand Wraps or Not) was much better then Joppy in a pound for pound sense.

Nobody is saying Tito isn't great, he just doesn't have the resume Mosley has. Plus when Shane got his ass kicked he actually tested himself again against the same guy, and while he lost he did better in the rematches. Trinidad did not do that, he just retired. The take your ball and go home approach. Once the aura of inviciblilty was gone from Trinidad he was never the same.
Plus compare Oscar and Winky fights. Mosley looked better against both guys. That has to count for something. Tito looked better against Mayorga, but the result was the same, both knocked out El Matador, so there is no real advantage there. Mosley beat a faded Vargas twice, and Tito beat a prime Vargas. But Mosley was past his prime when he beat Vargas plus past his best weight. For those of you who don't get the weight thing let me know explain. There is reason why Roberto Duran is rated higher then Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, and Thomas Hearns in a pound for pound sense. The reason he is is because even though he had a a 1-4 record against those guys he was the smaller, more accomplished and had more longevity. The same can be said of Mosley, at least in the case of comparing him to Trinidad.

Don't let fandom get involved in rational thought. Trinidad was a great fighter, just little less then Mosley. Nothing to be ashamed of, he is still a hall of famer.

Okay fair enough and by the way I have always given Margarito the benefit of the doubt.:good

Stop making it seem as if its factual that Mosley is better than Tito cause its not. As far as who has the better resume of wins I think the only thing Mosley has over Trinidad is a clear victory over Oscar and that's it. But keep in mind that if Oscar would have fought Tito the way he fought Mosley in their first fight then we would have seened Tito beat Oscar clearly or even possibly knocked him out. Keep in mind that when Oscar boxed against Mosley he won a controversial decision over Oscar as well. If you feel that Mosley didn't win the Oscar rematch then he is not legitimately a three weight division champ like Tito is. Your right that Mosley did fare better against Winky but they still both lost to him so there's no real advantage there, just to borrow a line of yours.

Focusing on who has the better wins you would have to give it to Tito who beat Campas, Carr, Vargas while they were undefeated. And you said Margarito is better than Joppy in a pound for pound sense which is true but what's the more difficult fight head to head?...It would obviously be Joppy at 160 than a 147 pound Margarito.
